She has played a very HUGE role hasn't she?

Imagine the utter duplicity of the damn democrats
to put her on the 9-11 Commission.

Wait, we needn't "imagine" their duplicity,
we're living it.

I have not been this mad in a good long while.

HAVING FLOUTED MARITAL, civil and criminal laws, President Clinton apparently believes it is a much smaller deal to renominate a man to head the Justice Department's civil rights division who illegally has held the post for more than a year in violation of long-standing federal law limiting "acting'' officials to 120 days.

Though the Senate refused to confirm Bill Lan Lee in 1997 because of his support of racial preferences, the president has renominated him to the post. This blatantly political act is part of an administration strategy to again portray Republicans as anti-civil rights. It's not enough that Clinton and fellow liberal Democrats enjoy stereotyping Republicans as the party of "the rich'' who are against Social Security and Medicare simply because they oppose open-ended spending by the White House and all legitimate proposals to reform and save the programs

I bet if we took a list of Clinton appointees and sat down with it today, we'd run for the hills, knowing what we know now.

And considering how mad we've been for so long, that's saying something!

I am convinced someone has something on Kean. A Rat congressman who sits on the Homeland Security Committee was just on and said that we should listen to Governor Kean, who is a non-partisan Republican.

I am thinking that Kean should resign as well. In fact, I think the whole darn thing should be closed down. What kind of an investigation is it when Gorelick KNOWS she wrote that memo and it has to be READ TO THEM by the sitting Attorney General? They weren't even LOOKING for it!!!

How much other information is being ignored? I am so mad I have trouble articulating without cussing!!!!

Are yall listening to Rush?

Is he "out of the loop" or what?

Wasting time on fluff.

What the hell is going on?

I feel like we're living in a whole separate universe.

The really scary part is that, because Gorelick was number two at DOJ, she flew under OUR radar for 8 long years.

She didn't fly under everyone's radar. She was also heavily involved in the OKC bombing case. If you google that on FR, you'll find plenty.

What I have always found curious was her subsequent move to Fannie Mae--an organization that's also recently been involved in controversy.

Clinton could'nt get Gorelick in so instead he put in Tenet that is working for Bush as we post. Question: Is Tenet worse than Gorelick would have been ?. Answer Tenet was his Clintons second choice.

The "I'm a unite'er not a divide'er", maxim Bush is working under which kept most of Clintons appointees. It will be the ruin of him(Bush) and probably the country too. The clock is ticking. The state dept of overflowing with veritable traitors. Its way past time for some serious dividing. Will it happen ?. Not until a democrat is President again. And then any of the good guys left will be cut. Bi-Partisanism is a republican delusion and the democrats strongest weapon of malfeasance.

No wonder, Slade Gorton has the Jester(BAt Man) look on his face all the time. Without makeup too.

Miss Marple, you're always steady and cool!
Now I know my reaction is A-OK.

Excellent thinking MM.
Kean is too weak to really be on "our side."

The fact that Gorelick sat silently smug just rankles me to no end.
And of course the democrats knew about her and the damn memo.

Of course, the whole commission should be shut-down in disgrace, but not before every American voter knows what we know.

What to do?
I am spinning in circles.

I just looked at the clock and turned it on and it is at commercial. Then I saw your note. I'm glad I didn't miss any railing on the Gorelick issue, but aggravated if he's not picking up the ball on it.

We'll see if he gets to it.

We knew Clinton was bad. But I don't think any of us, in our wildest imaginations, ever realized the breadth and depth of the corruption and evil that occupied the White House for 8 long years.

Some of us--probably most of us--had suspicions but tempered our thoughts for fear of becoming KOOKs.

Or being told to get out our tinfoil hats.
The more and more I find out, the more and more I think the ONLY reason we survived the Clinton years is because God took mercy on us.
It sure wasn't because the Repubs showed any leadership or spine.
