When was RIAA formed?
This could be key, as the teeth for enforcement of internet useage may correlate with this.

Excellent point! I am hopeful that this will get some attention; however, I do not expect to see it in the media.

Near as I can find now, looks like maybe 1965. Been trying to find an incorporation date, but no paydirt yet.

Ah yes, EO 11025 (?) wasn't it? Unlikely, that a Kennedy EO involving a strike at Republic Aviation. (Long gone, it first became Fairchild-Republic, and then died. After producing the A-10 Warthog, and then having a new trainer contract canceled due to poor performanc of it's engine, which was not built by Fairchild-Republic).

I stand corrected, it was Ford's 1976 EO 11905. But, hey, it has been a couple of years ago.

Mindbender, our own Alamo-Girl and FReepers put themselves to the task to document as much as they could about Clinton's actions and non-actions. They are compiled in the Down Side Legacy threads. Jewels are in there just waiting to be mined!
There are some folks here, Alamo-Girl, who might benefit from your perspective!

Couldn't be! We all know Hollywood hates capitalism and it's promoters, so how could anyone possibly think they'd be interested in protecting their profits? /sarcasm off

Hi, Please take a moment and either call the President or send an email to let him know we, the American people back him. Also, if you could just tell one person to do the same and ask them to tell another, than God willing, we will flood the switchboard with calls and faxes like they have never seem. This is one way we can take it direct to the President and it can not be misled by the media or stupid polls.....
Please call or email and God bless:

Do you have anything like this in your stash of files? This one's new to me!--good thread. I do have stuff on Gore's telecommunications ties to Internet service providers (Gore pushing the V-Chip and educational software in what appears to have been a quid-pro-quo exchange for donations from telecommunications/software firms) and Clinton's Hollywood connections (the Peter Paul case, etc.), and I wonder if either of those things factor into it.

I stand corrected, it was Ford's 1976 EO 11905. But, hey, it has been a couple of years ago. Yes it has, although it was while I was on active duty in the USAF. It can be read here. (among other places) I've linked to the "Restrictions" section for convenience.

Yes, it 's been several years ago. My referral of burning files was to an incident back in 76.
