This one's new to me!--good thread. I do have stuff on Gore's telecommunications ties to Internet service providers (Gore pushing the V-Chip and educational software in what appears to have been a quid-pro-quo exchange for donations from telecommunications/software firms) and Clinton's Hollywood connections (the Peter Paul case, etc.), and I wonder if either of those things factor into it.
