There will become a point in time when medical innovation will simply become unaffordable. Then what?

Hopefully, this technology will follow the path of modern day computers.

A current $5.00 pocket calculator is many times faster and much less expensive than the earliest computers.

I am put in mind of C.S. Lewis' "Pellandria" trilogy, concerning the animated dead Head that gave the scientists instructions. When Blind Science becomes religion, where will it lead us? All things may be possible; all things are not good.

You know, as SF, I found those 3 books dreadful, and had to slog through them. As prophecy and allegory, I ate them up. (Now Narnia...those were high fiction to me. If you liked them, stop in and see my DragonRaid page!)

Moving the experiment from monkeys to humans is a challenge.

Not for folks who believe in Evolution........

What happens when a person has a thought they don't actually want acted upon? IE. Sometimes I wish my spouse would just disappear... Man!! I hate my boss...wish someone would take care of him/her...etc...

Of course, this is also a predecessor to implanting the 666 on everyone's forehead to get the mark of the beast...What happens when we are required to get this chip implant?
