[history]
April 14, 2004 -- A group of 9/11 families has released an open letter thanking National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice for her testimony to the commission probing the attacks and saying it should end "the incredible notion" that President Bush knew 9/11 was coming and did nothing. The letter signed by 40 relatives also blasts some members of the 9/11 commission for trying to "grandstand for political gain" in hopes of embarrassing Bush and thus politicizing the inquiry.

Thanks for the post! This was encouraging. We citizens and patriots have to speak up and defend the president and call a 'spade a spade' when these people get out of line, otherwise they go right on, thinking they have the will of the people behind them! They may disregard the first few letters, but they cannot disregard a groundswell of them, and I hope that they get just that!

I just got off the NY Post website (I was trying to get the Met's score, no luck, next ESPN). The Post has a front page that is blasting the RATs...but in big letters (not like the NYT) is advises that's it's an editorial. Yesterday the Daily News went after the Prez big time and really partisan. Of course they put it out as a news story. They've really made a sharp left at the Daily News. It's 1720 here in Guam...don't you FREEPERS ever get any sleep in the CONUS?? Semper Fidelis (from a Jersey Marine who has loved the Mets since the Polo Grounds).

It's called "outsourcing". Some of us have more time on our hands than we would prefer. This is a good time to hit the job boards one last time after the crowds are gone and maybe send out one or two more resumes.

Chris Matthews was giving leading, inflammatory questions to the democrat 9/11 widows on his show. Absolutely disgraceful.

There was no doubt in my mind that these people existed, even in NY.
We can be sure that the White House has had theses people's names corralled for some time, but waited until the right time.
It seems to me that it's best to wait until after the democrats play their game. There was no doubt in my military mind that the democrats were going to do this.

Kattrack, you should be on commission for the NYP. After reading several of your excellent posts this morning I attempted to see if I could get it down here in Florida. Looks like I'll have to settle for the net and FR. Still, the NYP is soooo much better than the liberal swill they push on us as a "newspaper" in the form of the sun-sentinel.
As my wife says, "I read it for the ads"...

Thank you for posting this.
We have heard so much of late about 9-11 families being greedy or tearing down our troops and our President.
Nice to see this!

Personally I find the democrat September 11 widows to be nauseating. I contributed to the funds for the survivors of the deceased and I see I got the democrat widows.
The four widows and entourage at the 911 hearings applaud the partisans like Benveniste and we are supposed to believe that is the feeling of the American people.
There were 3000 people killed on September 11. The immediate families involves 10,000 immediate victims. The nation as a whole was attacked are we are stuck with the 4 democrat widows. I am sick of them.

According to another article on the hearings yesterday, two of Dem's 9/11 cheering section apparently weren't happy with the proceedings. They considered it a spectacle. Apparently, these people, who made a spectacle of themselves by applauding when the Dems tried to bully Condi, weren't thrilled when it was the Dem's turn to be on the receiving end of some criticism.

Hi, Please take a moment and either call the President or send an email to let him know we, the American people back him. Also, if you could just tell one person to do the same and ask them to tell another, than God willing, we will flood the switchboard with calls and faxes like they have never seem. This is one way we can take it direct to the President and it can not be misled by the media or stupid polls.....
Please call or email and God bless:

Why is no one, including Fox, inviting these folks on their shows? It would be another coup for Fox. They need to get off their "Can we be mainstream slimeballs, too?" kick, and get those people on to show the American people what everybody implicitly knows. UBL killed those people - and Bush is forcefully fighting back to avenge them and prevent further Islamic atrocities.
