I sympathize with you. The prevailing world way to deal with this is a "Wall". Yes, Rio de Janeiro and Israel have decided that good walls make good neighbors. Walling off Maryland from DC to put a halt to this immigration is the accepted practice.

Yes, they are moving here in droves. Have you checked the price of a house around here lately? They will pay anything to get out of the liberal "paradise" that they themselves have created, yet they bring the same affliction with them. However, it WAS funny when the Mayor of Hagerstown sent the "Gay Beauty Pageant" packing recently. He said that they would create as much chaos as a KKK rally! And He's a dem!

Unfortunately the local economy is ramping up to take advantage of *their* higher incomes.
We who have lived here literally for centuries cannot bear the higher prices they can.
This was once a place with practically no crime of any real import and everybody slept with their doors hanging open.
My family used to go on week-long vacations and never once worry about our house while we were gone.
I'm not crazy about unlocked doors when I'm awake and home, now.
Farmers can't resist the exorbitant offers for their farmlands and we're *this* close to being a suburb of Frederick which is now a suburb of DC.
It's unbearable.
I expect the long-time locals will pushed be westward into Allegeny and Garrett counties before long.
A lot of people I know have already skipped the Potomac and moved to WV.
The locals just sit and watch the developments springing up like toadstools.
Those moving wesyward have no idea how we feel about them else they'd never come here in the first place.
Since time immemorial, the "invaders" move in and change the existing culture to suit themselves.
We will *not* be assimilated in the liberal collective!.....:))

I doubt that mayor will have a second term.
The "hospital fight" is gonna do him in.

I always get a laugh out of "Mail Call", and the opinion pages. It's about time for me to write another letter. I love the lib letters that whine about the loss of jobs in our area,(there was one yesterday), all you have to do is turn a few pages and refute their lies! There are help wanted ads for almost every job imaginable.

Just about every place I shop has help-wanted signs up.
The problem is the liberals are looking for $150,000 a year jobs.

Today's "letters to the editor" is mostly Bush slams.
