When the 9-11 Commission is lying to the public on the telephone, it needs to be exposed.

9/11 Commission Obtained Video of Clinton Confession Last Month

When ex-President Clinton told the 9/11 Commission last Thursday that he never admitted to turning down an offer for Osama bin Laden's extradition to the U.S., the Commission had already obtained a videotape of him making those remarks to the Long Island Association in Woodbury, New York, during the group's annual luncheon in February 2002. "The 9/11 Commission put in a formal request for the videotape more than a month ago," Gary Wojtas, Communications Director of the Long Island Association, told NewsMax.com Tuesday morning. "And we did supply it to them."

The FBI had never completed a terrorist threat assessment. Wow

Maybe not, but they did publish this: Tomorrow's Terrorist Threats - Pulse Weapons, WMD, Cyber Terror, Agroterrorism (1999 FBI Report)

CONCLUSION

"THE FBI has been countering violent extremism since the agency’s earliest days. As the phenomena of terrorism became a serious threat to the nation’s sense of security, the FBI’s response to this crime problem evolved. Since 1982 the FBI has been the lead agency in the U.S. Government’s response to terrorism in the United States. "

Biggest news thus far - the FBI did not have a plan pre-9/11 to deal with terrorism.

Thanks for the info

I wonder if Gorelick will grill Reno as much as she did Condi. I doubt though. Most likely she will give her a pass

You know, that strategy will never get off the ground. They have managed to paint Ashcroft as such a zealot that nobody will believe he shirked his duty at all, I don't care how they parse out different crimes, the public will not believe that he ignored anything.

Side note:

Yesterday on Brit Hume's Special Report, he said that Kerry's ad campaign group put together an ad. They put together a focus group to review the ad. The focus group were so offended by the ad that they almost attacked the campaign members. Brit didn't give a published reference, but that would be an interesting read.
