So what? If Osama was killed that wouldn't have stopped 9/11.

The point was that others have testified our counter-terrorism did NOT include an order from Clinton to get Bin Laden, and that in fact, Clinton turned down opportunities to get Bin Laden. BV is asserting, directly, that Clinton gave the order to get Bin Laden. I don't think anybody is tying a capture/kill of Bin Laden to stopping 9/11.

If conservative reporters aren't writing about Ashcroft's nuclear bombshell on Gorelock right now, they are falling down on the job.

Also, I think some freeper who has just recently read the book "Losing Bin Laden" could better describe for us that Clinton's assertion (now) that he had a kill order for OBL is factually true but CIA agents deemed the order was so negotiated and overly lawyered that they would be under indictment if they actually killed him. They had no confidence in the order.

I'm naive, but I did think it was an extremely difficult thing to pull off.

Hopefully when the commission interviews Mansoor in private session in early May, he will set them straight about the kill order as it is outlined by Miniter in his book.
