Amazing. I thought I was well informed but I had never heard that the budget they were working on was for the previous administration. Fox & Friends this morning was even on Ashcroft's case about his budget. Why doesn't the media report the facts anymore?

The fiscal year runs from October 1 to September 30th for the Federal Government. So, Bush's budget wouldn't have taken place till after September 11.
