Some on the Sadr thread are saying the report of his capture was debunked a couple of hours ago.
That Tass didn't get the message (and neither did I!).

Roemer tried to be cute by telling these guys that they have said some "cute" things about attorneys and that they have better show some deference to the attorneys on the 9/11 commission. What a POS.
To: Miss Marple
I thought that the interesting remark that Pickering made was that they could do nothing involving suspected terrorists unless they committed a crime. Hands were tied.
To: Quilla
The Post indicated there was a specific warning involving Lower Manhattan in the PDB. Chrissy Matthews was spewing that "downtown Manhattan" all morning.
To: double_down
I notice Roemer is avoiding Cofer Black. HA!
To: Carolinamom
oops...getting my dates mixed up.
To: Carolinamom
The VP mentioned is Algore, right? I think he was referring to Cheany .. but I'm not sure

Thanks for the link on what a PDB is exactly.
I wonder why it won't ever become public who wrote it?

OOPs! not Pickering.....Pickard
To: cyncooper
You don't have to apologize for that! He is just what you said.
To: jackbill
The Post needs to run a correction. Totally false reporting. Nothing in the PDB says anything about Manhattan, lower or otherwise.
To: jackbill
Definitely. There was NOTHING in the PDB that mentioned Manhattan at all, let alone downtown Manhattan.
Man - we could freep all day these lying POS and still not get through the list.

"nothing to see hear....let's move on"..... This whole thing is a circus and damn near criminal imho...and someone named roemer is the biggest rat of all....he goes on all these talking head shows and 'acts' like he is for bi-partisanship, when really he is the biggest ass of all. They are partners in crime with the liberal media and aren't the least bit interested in America's safety. Their goal is to take away Bush's biggest asset. His handling of 9-11. I really really really dislike these people.

CNN has onscreen:
Pickard: Atty General did not have terrorism as priority
MSNBC: (I AM boycotting, but took a peek for onscreen)
Pickard did not see presidential briefing until 9/11
Back to CSPAN for me.

Pickard says he often is kept up at night going over in his mind if he could have pieced together information or done things differently.
To: cyncooper
Roemer is an ass.
Being an ass seems to have been a prerequisite for the Democrats named to this commission. As for the Republicans, someone previously referred to them as Rip Van Winkle Republicans, and that seems as apt as anything. LOL

You're forgiven. Sometimes the truth just needs to be said out loud.

Kean asking Black what went wrong and what would he do differently
Says when he took the job in 1999 he knew he'd be before a committee like this
WOW!
