Her name is Shandi and she says she'll use her position as the new Miss USA to explain US involvement in Iraq. After accepting the title at the 52nd annual pageant, the 25-year-old graduate student from Missouri, said: "What needed to be done had to be done." Shandi Finnessey, a Republican and 1.8 metre blonde from St Louis, is an author and wrote a book called The Furrtails, as part of her aim to integrate mentally retarded children into regular classrooms. She has a master's degree in counselling and also plays piano and violin. At a party following the event, Finnessey described her social life as "totally single and looking".

I'm glad I was not drinking my soda when I read your post. Both it and your tagline are great!

That was my understanding as well, that surgical (ahem) enhancement was not allowed in the contestants. Some girls are naturally well-endowed, and she might be one of them. It would be easier to tell with video clips rather than stills; movement is still the biggest give-away to real versus fake.
Old joke: How come so many men cannot make eye contact? Because breasts don't have eyes.

Ok, you want the analysis? Here you go:
Look at post #3, picture on the right, red bikini. Her right breast - the one on your left in the picture - has an "unnatural" edge to it's left (cleavage) side. That, and if you've seen the show, they don't "ride" right when she walks and in other clothing she wears.
It's obvious to us experts. ;o)

Y'all go ahead and fight over her. Ain't nothing more beautiful than a Texas Rose. And most of 'em now days, thank God, are of the conservative variety.
I went to a Conservative Jam-fest at a local park Sunday. A lotta churches within a 100 mile radius joined together to show their flocks that conservatives could become active participants in the political process if they just would.
I was gob-smacked by all the beautiful ladies. Maybe I just haven't noticed before . . . but conservative ladies are far, far more beautiful than their liberal counter-parts.
So . . . y'all divide Ms. Missouri up amongst ya. She's a conservative and a worthy catch . . . but I'll stick with the Texas cowgirls. Hubba-hubba.

Men, says she, mess up her hair and block the mirror.I don't doubt it for a second.

I thought surgically-altered mammary glands (among other parts) were not allowed in these contests. How fair is it if a contestant with more resources for surgical alteration of their body is allowed to compete against those who are "natural"? I'll take natural every time. The Miss USA contest is where they choose the delegate to the Miss Universe Pageant. Surgery is not only allowed, it's encouraged. Watch the Miss Universe Pageant this year and you won't see any natural gals, especially from South America.
The Miss America Pageant does not allow surgery.

Not a bad idea . . . but I'm too old to be able to cash in any points. I can vaguely remember the ritual called dating . . . but my age and faulty memory and . . . as George Costanza would say . . . "shrinkage" has made me a "window-shopping" connoisseur only.
I didn't say I could "do" anything with the Texas Roses if I caught 'em, I only said I liked the view. An awful lot.

The winner's prize package includes a $200,000 crown, free accommodation in New York City, as well as free dental work and dermatological services. Lucky dentist and dermatologist "But I've already had my teeth cleaned twice this week! You're sure I need another cleaning?"

You missed the best part of
the interview!
What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
I conquered a fear of heights and water by bungee jumping from a crane over a lake. And if that's not crazy enough, I also wrestled a greased pig in a mud pit.

She is stunningly beautiful! She is a breath of fresh air however even though she is a Republican (Thank God!) there is a liberal tilt to her:
"The Furrtails, as part of her aim to integrate mentally retarded children into regular classrooms."
It doesn't work and smacks of utopia.
However I am glad to hear that she believes Bush was right in going into Iraq. Of course the media will warm up the dumb blond jokes.

Mainstreaming harms the rest of the kids,
but this is typically leftist -
bring everyone down to the lowest common denominator to make everything "fair"
The article supposedly pointed out her conservative leanings, but on this subject, she is a leftist.
Perhaps it was a play to the leftist judges.

[M]entally retarded children into regular classrooms...where they can be neglected as much as any other student. It would be more accurate to say, where they can join the student who once was in special education and has now been mainstreamed and the 504 kids who together with the Gifted and Talented take up 85% of the teachers time making it impossible to teach the vast majority of kids in the middle. The average Joe losses again.

Too old! Nonsense! Don't give up the ship! The Texan girls will be on you in no time. See Ben Franklin for tips on how it's done in the later years.
