The President and his family spent Easter Sunday at the Chapel at Fort Hood and then visited soldiers at the Darnell Community Hospital.
President Bush held a joint press conference with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, at his ranch Monday, April 12, 2004 in Crawford, Texas, discussing Sharon's plans for the Gaza Strip, among other subjects.
The President left for the Waco airport shortly after the completion of the press conference, and flew home to the White House.
The President announced that he will hold a press conference in the White House, Tuesday night, at 8:20 PM EDT.

As Rush would say, Kerry has to convince the voters that poverty is rife, that there are bread lines in towns all over America that the press just isn't showing, and that the past 3 years have been the WORST in the history of America, with regard to inflaton, taxes, and the cost of living.
The man is a loose cannon.

According to the pictures in the paper, the memorial is between the reflecting pool and the Washington monument. It's supposed to be the size of a couple football fields. Gotta run. Goodnite!

Misery would be "President Kerry."
But I will be in Mexico if that should ever come to pass. I wouldn't like living under the UN.

Save your sanity and avoid the partisan media, including FoxNews.
The only Fox shows/personalities that I watch any more are Fox & Friends (for Steve and Brian), and Brit Hume! [O'Reilly is an arrogant flip flopper who has become a shill for Kerry, and Colmes makes me nauseous!]
To remain informed AND energized, listen to Rush, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Mike Gallagher, Laura Ingram, Hugh Hewitt, Dennis Prager, and/or Michael Medved!
FYI: I made the mistake of listening briefly to OReilly tonight, only to hear him (and Dick Morris) completely misrepresent the President's poll numbers!
ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE PRESIDENT'S APPROVAL RATINGS IS THAT THEY HAVE REMAINED STABLE DESPITE DICKIE CLARKE, THE PDB MEMO, AND THE INCREASED VIOLENCE IN IRAQ! Republicans/Republican leaners continue to support him with virtual unanimity and Democrats/Democrat leaners continue to oppose him (although in slightly lower percentages than those that support him). The 5-7% of voters who are genuinely undecided will remain so until October! SO STOP WORRYING!!!!
POLLING UPDATES FROM THE ONLY TWO POLLS THAT MATTER RIGHT NOW:
GALLUP POLL
GWB approval
4/05-08/04 52% approve 45% disapprove (+7)
3/26-28/04 53% approve 44% disapprove
3/05-07/04 49% approve 48% disapprove
Match-up w/Kerry
Likely Voters
4/05-08/04 Bush 48% Kerry 45% (+3)
3/26-28/04 Bush 51% Kerry 47%
3/05-07/04 Bush 44% Kerry 52% (-8)
RASMUSSEN
1,500 likely voters (4 pt schemata vs standard approve/disapprove)
4/9-11/04 53% approve 47% disapprove (+6)
[NOTE: This approval rating represents an 8 point improvement from early last week. This same poll gives the President a +2 advantage over Kerry after a -6 pt disadvantage early last week!]
BOTTOMLINE: The President remains in GOOD shape politically! However, we should still regard him as the underdog in November! WHY? Because the left controls academia (K-12 and college), the electronic and print media, the entertainment industry (Hollywood, TV, music), large swaths of the internet, organized labor, and the major urban centers. They will use ALL to their advantage in November! We must counter with the media we do control as well as an unprecedented grassroots effort! BY WORKING HARDER AND SMARTER THAN OUR OPPONENTS, WE WILL PREVAIL!!!
