Actually I would search a smuggling truck if weapons found then let it through with a discreet single addition, C4 with a trigger for the recipient.
Make sure you tell ahead for no friendly to stop the truck up ahead.

... the politicians are micromanaging it, and not allowing the ground commanders and the men under them, to prosecute to a complete victory.Battles these days are never fought according to strictly military goals, or strictly to maximize troop safety. It is nauseating, but true. The political fallout - public perceptions both within and outside of the theater - is always factored in. I think there is better management of rules of engagement under Bush. Ways are found so that soldiers have what they need to win.

We should announce a 24 hour a day cerfew around Fallujah until order is restored, and blanket the area with AC130s and helecopter gunships with orders to shoot anything that moves.

Reread those damned UN/Geneva pieces of (toilet) paper that we have to go by, but dirt bags are allowed to ignore.
We have to provide "humanitarian" aid to "noncombatants" in order to "prevent hardship" on the populace.
It be the rules, that we be forced to obey, and they get to ignore with impunity...like no shooting from or at religious sites, medical facilities or vehicles, schools, civilian homes or factories...
It is the same lame game as IDF & Palis.
As to the 'civilian casualties, naturally none of them are attributable to the sheet-heads use of human shields, or their indiscriminate ejaculatory firing of their penis extensions.

Cut off all elecrticity, telephone and water from the city, jamm all communication frequencies.

Welcome to Vietnam... you can't go into that city and take it. Wait for the politicials to do their thing!
Sounds familiar?

There is absolutely no rational explanation for aiding the enemy this way. What kind of morons are running this "war"?
I fail to see why the following rules are not followed:
1. Hourly, Civilian women and children should be encouraged to leave Fallujah.
2. Males of all ages should be allowed into Fallujah, but none out.
3. No supplies are allowed into Fallujah other than water and pork products. 4. Vehicles found to be attempting to smuggle in weapons and soldiers will be confiscated and blown up on the spot. Yes, specially ambulances.
5. Ambulances picking up weapons but not the injured will be targetted immediately.
Did I forget anything?

I would let them through - on foot with no weapons - so that we can kill them now instead of later. And no matter how long it takes, any "supplies" being brought in can be delivered into fallujah only after being transferred to coalition vehicles and thorough inspection, no matter how long the process takes!
And not essential material gets destroyed on the spot.
This is a war dammit, not a "demonstration".

I'd have to think all would be civilians. Some of them would be criminals & others would be innocents caught in the crossfire. No way. Any "innocent" civilian not supporting the killers would want to get the hell out.

NEVER FORGET: We are dealing with people stuck in the 14th Century. If that be true, they have leapfrogged 7 centuries in one week!

My point is that it is better to let them into the city to die now than ambush our young men and women later.

Doing what one wants to do is not always possible. The wife & children of a controlling jerk in that society lose their innocence at an early age, but if they would choose being elsewhere & they are there because they have no other choice, I'd have them in the catagory of an innocent.
To: GoLightly
As a general statement I would agree. However, the wish to live, and to have your children live, is a special case.
Unless she is handcuffed to the sandmaggot killer she has made a conscious choice to stay. And to die.
