Barbara (L) and Jenna Bush, the daughters of U.S. President George W Bush, walk together from the Darnall Army Community Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas, April 11, 2004 after President Bush (news - web sites) and members of his family visited with soldiers wounded in Iraq (news - web sites). Bush awarded 10 purple hearts to troops recovering in the hospital, after attending an Easter Sunday Church service at a chapel within the army base in central Texas.

That was supposed to be "sheesh" up there instead of "she's." Sheesh.

I believe that is a fine example of the type of woman called "English rose." Seems like I remember those photos from Ascot a few years ago, just can't wrack my brains to remember exactly.

And another thing. I love GWB and his daughters feel like they are mine and my mother lion instinct comes out when prigs criticize them, the press goes after them and hateful things are said about them. It makes me furious.

The fake pic of the fake poster seemed old to me, like the girl was old and the pic was old. And the shoes, well, just to look at them hurt my eyes. When I thought she was his daughter, I wanted to write her a letter telling her she needed to free herself before it was too late. I was imagining her having a long, suppressed life, with no joy, no fun and always, always wearing underpants, even on her honeymoon. That pic really disturbed me.

You made this the funniest thread I ever read in my life, and I thank you!
As does my oldest sister, who is in her 60's and looks like Delta Burke with red hair. When I read her your underwear rules, she only found one she disagrees with - she says leopard is appropriate anytime.

Correct, the woman in the brown hat was from the Grand National races at Aintree. (not very long ago)

" Every once in a while after a dreadful time, things get delightfully funny here. During the recount there were side splitting threads. I suspect we will need the laughter." It's absolutely the BEST part of all of us! We needed this!
And thank you, DEPORT for exposing the scam!

Again, thanks to everyone involved for some well needed laughs throughout the day.
Now we just need a catchy "rallying cry" for the NO UNDERPANTS rule.

This thread was so much FUN.
I have to say that my favorite comment was
one of Cobalt Blue's:
about the dress having that "homemade look"
Thought I'd die laughing.
Maybe I can find it later.
It's worth another laugh.

I do not discuss sex addiction, men's sexual habits and fantasies and activities with them. If you do, you are playing a strange game. They get off discussing it with nice all covered up women who think they are doing the Lord's work. These men are for the most part untreatable. I wanted to clarify something. I do not discuss men's sexual fantasies with them. That would be fueling the problem rather than focusing on the solution. Scripture tells us to confess our faults to one another, but it does not say we must go into lurid details that stir up the passions all over again.
Both men and women have confessed a lot of immorality to me and sought help to overcome the patterns that got them into the place where they were deeply repentant. It is wise in most cases not to dwell on the specifics except when the specifics are needing a lot of healing and can be helped by a ministry such as Theophostic Ministry, which delivers genuine freedom to people. It is important to deal with the root of sin and help the repentant person rise up and overcome it.

FR has the best wits on the web. My fave, virtually unnoted was the funny guy upthread who asked in the middle of the row, whether Algore's son was out of bed this morning or still lying around stones. That totally did me in. but everything did. Thanks to all,,,it was real and fun.
