First they wear white shoes after labor day, then it is no underpants to the market, then they are lost to us. Hon, you have to use email to keep us up on these things. I thought the white rule was so over,,winter white and all. I am only barely getting used to all the color at funerals, sometimes it is positively festive, like everyone has a stake in the estate. If you live on an island or in the desert, maybe; a lot of places don't consider you totally dressed unless you have on hose.

Which is why one does not wear open-toed shoes to such places. That's why we have pumps and the hose that go under them.
