Every one should give them a break. My wonderful grand daughters dress that way, and I know time will take care of it. We should all wish that was all we have to worry about.

I guess that depends on who's saying "Bless your heart."

Yes. Context is everything.

way back when in the sixties we did the Royal Canadien air Force Exercises,,does anyone remembeer those? And I personally bumped my hiney {underpants on} against doors in the fifties convinced it would reduce my butt. We never said the word butt by the way. We just wouldn't do such a thing. We called it our derriere or our boute {I think that is where booty came from}. We didn't say alot of bad words that I relish saying today. I am an old lady curser,,it is very satisfying at times. And unnerving to my grandchildren who fuss at me. And my daughters who threaten nursing homes.

For pity sake, Hildy, the evidence is right here on the thread that you posted to. They were attending church, and they were visiting wounded troops on Easter Sunday. I know that may not mean a whole lot to you, because you seem overly concerned about APPEARANCES. No, I don't agree with you, and I think you might note that you are in a minority here.

Sounds right to me but you know in text it just can't communicate the mental anguish of the scene.

I remember the Royal Canadian Air Force Exercises! They were in Parade Magazine, I think. I thought they were good.

Not like bust-improvement exercises! Remember those? You press your palms together and push? While chanting "we must, we must, we must improve the bust!"

It is only recently that I cannot resist laughing aloud. I think it is the overabundance of women wearing too tight shirts with rolls of flab hanging out.

How long are those awful polyester blouses going to be in style? I hate those kinds of shirts. I live in hot humid south Louisiana and the material is icky 10 months of the year. My niece is a beautiful thin girl and even on her they don't look that great at all and she can wear anything.

Sure sounds as if he is D. Slaughter. He signed up today. He hasn't gotten banned yet, either. Maybe he just likes people to pay attention to him.

I remember "We must, we must, we must improve our bust." Those pushing on the hands exercises, though, may just work. At least you're using some muscle tissue there.

see my post 1300 is he back?!?!?

I read your post,
followed your link,
read some of his posts,
but that thread is a
"thinking" thread, and my
mind hasn't connected today with
anything of substance. Just fluff.

I remember "We must, we must, we must improve our busts."

HS gym class, but in CA
the word "develop" was used instead of improve.
Pity the 'undeveloped' in CA back then.
Of course implant surgery cures them nowadays.

I think they look very good ...notice that they are both looking trashy in those clothes...

Well, I must admit when I saw that green dress cling, this old soldier's heart went ping. I instantly wished I was 25 and wished I could remember why I was feeling that way.
Trust me...Their visit lifted up the soldiers's SPIRITS.
Ha! To be young again and to be on the receiving end of her smile.

Ahhhh, to be that young again. And I'm sure they uplifted many soldiers' hearts. What absolutely great girls. Normal, too.
