Sorry but I'm all out of Buffalo Bill Pics :( But Here are some Ringling Bros. Pics in Maine circa 1910.
This is a great collection of pics. I have to try to let my stepdad let me keep these.
What's really cool about these is that there are photographer
Notes as to the F-Stop and all of that 'Stuff' on the back I'm trying to preserve them for an historical record :)

There was bowling in 1910? In New England? I'm betting it was duck pins.

When I saw the headline I thoought that someone had photoshopped John Kerry into a clown suit or something. Silly me, this is lot better. Thanks for the great pictures, is is fun to see what life was like nearly a hundred years ago.

The picture reminds me of a scene in the Stephen King movie Something Wicked This Way Comes.
Very nice pictures!

If you know the photographer's name, we might be able to give you some valuable information regarding value etc.

I grew up in Baraboo, class of '70. It's a nice little town, picturesque, full of circus history ...but I am bone-weary of caliope music.

Thanks. I have quite a few more to post in the coming days.
After the Ringling Bros. Pics I have some from the King Circus that are also pretty cool.

Really , truly neat-o. The picture of the tent canvas spread and waiting to be raised is worth the price of admission.

Neat! This is very cool!

I love the Bowling sign too. I used to go bowling with my Grandfather at the Odd Fellows club in portland Maine when I was but a wee lad. And at that time the alley was very old. So yes, bowling has been around for quite a while. It was mentioned in 'Rip Van Winkle'. :)

Class of 69 myself at Watertown Northwestern Prep.
Ever ride the steam train in North Freedom?
A friend of mine owns a caboose there and occasionally gets pulled by the locomotive. Pretty cool!
When I was a kid we used to go to Rock Springs all the time to my great uncles place and mess around by the quarry called the Pink Lady.

I bet it was Duck Pins. It is sad to say but duck pin bowling is starting to fade away here in Southern New Hampshire :(

Thanks. I enjoy sharing. I recently got a book from my Mom that my Dad got in the navy called 'What about Girls' that warns military personnel of the dangers of VD. It's a hoot, I'll try to finish scanning it so everyone can have a chuckle.
