A handful of Sept. 11 widows are outraged that President Bush didn't act on the August 6, 2001 briefing he got from the CIA.

Is this the same handful of widows who are part of the 'Peaceful Tomorrows' group that is connected to the Tides Foundation, which is funded, in part, by the Heinz Foundation?

These folks are trying mightily to defeat President Bush in November. They are lying through their teeth about that memo. We CAN'T let them get away with it!

Even if Bush had authorized all the steps mentioned in NewsMax article, the 19 terrorist still could have hijacked four jets in Canada and flew them across the border and into the WTC buildings.

Rembember, at that time (on 9/11), no one (very very few) in the world, including terrorist negotiators, domestic defense planners, military strategists, NO ONE --- conceived that hijackers could take control of a jet with boxcutters, and then slam those passenger-loaded jets into targets, whether the WTC or whatever.

Although in hindsight such suicide-terror seems so simple, at the time it was hardly even considered a possibility.
