VANITY: I'll Make an FR Donation for Everyone Who Pledges to Boycott MSNBC

I've been driven to post my first vanity by the out and out disgusting behavior of Chris Matthews and Don Imus. Matthews gave full rein today to 4 9/11 widows spouting conspiracy theories...he even said that VP Cheney should be given sodium pentathol before his Commission testimony. Imus has become unwatchable. He has gone far beyond humor in his insults of President Bush - far beyond.
So, here's the deal... the only way we can hurt MSNBC's ratings is by boycotting them ourselves. I'm willing to donate 25 cents to FR for every boycott pledgee on this thread - my maximum is $50, but so is my minimum!
I'm hoping that others might be willing to match my donations. How about it guys? I would love to wake up in the morning and find at least a hundred pledges.

"The most bile inducing has been Chris Matthews. He's turned far left in every way, and he voted for Bush in 2000."
From what I recall, Matthews lied about voting for Bush. I think I read the thread here, that he admitted to voting for Gore.

He voted for Bush; he's said so several times.

I'm onboard too. Banned from my house as of today. After that ridiculous segment with the 911 widders yesterday, he can no longer call himself impartial.
He's probably one of the most biased reporters on tv. "Reporter" -- what a laugh.
There should be a new term coined for these people who throw the far-left agenda at us at every turn.
Chrissie, hope your ratings drop even farther than they have already -- and soon.
To: Howlin
I have no doubt he said...I recall the conversation with Luntz. But as someone else pointed out, he was heard on the Jim Lehrer's show rooting for Gore and practically cried after his concession speech. I just don't buy it...especially since this guy hates the so-called neo-con crowd.

Hey! This baby-boomer and my like-minded aged friends are staunch pro-life, Second Amendment conservatives. It's our damn brethren that fried their minds on drugs that have their heads up their butts.
I'll keep up my boycotts and I appreciate the contributions and pledges of others.

I quit them a LONG TIME ago - literally!
I worked for MSNBC from 1997 through 2000 (on the internet side). Most of the folks I worked for were OK, but the slime-bags from Secaucaus (the TV side) were unbearable!

I didn't get FOX News on my cable till 2001, and I was pleased to see that the only two people I liked on MSNBC - John Gibson and Linda Vester - were already on FOX.
I like seeing MSNBC's ratings drop. They deserve to lose every viewer they've still got.

Hope this thread keeps going. Matthews is already in the gutter far as ratings go. The dems sure have give him a talking. Well, lets show them where the numbers really are. Need to let the sponsers know.
To: fabriclady
I'm trying to compile a list of Chrissy's sponsors, I've already got Merck and Wyeth, both pharmaceutical companies.
I think we should start writing them early in the week.

Where do I send my quarter? I'll pay my own if you send me an address.
I used to like Scarboro Country but since he's been kissing the butt of the libs, I'm on Gem Shopping.
Now if we could get Greta to do some politics, life would be good.
