VANITY: I'll Make an FR Donation for Everyone Who Pledges to Boycott MSNBC

I've been driven to post my first vanity by the out and out disgusting behavior of Chris Matthews and Don Imus. Matthews gave full rein today to 4 9/11 widows spouting conspiracy theories...he even said that VP Cheney should be given sodium pentathol before his Commission testimony. Imus has become unwatchable. He has gone far beyond humor in his insults of President Bush - far beyond.
So, here's the deal... the only way we can hurt MSNBC's ratings is by boycotting them ourselves. I'm willing to donate 25 cents to FR for every boycott pledgee on this thread - my maximum is $50, but so is my minimum!
I'm hoping that others might be willing to match my donations. How about it guys? I would love to wake up in the morning and find at least a hundred pledges.

Bump!
To: Dolphy
Thank you so much.
I realize the futility of trying to boycott one of the big 3 networks, or even CNN. But MSNBC has such a small audience anway that a small boycott might tip the balance.
Or possibly, NBC might see that a ratings drop has followed Kaplan, and ditch him.
I'm hoping this has some effect, and I really appreciate your support.

Yeah, they do. And I want them to either bite the big one or, better yet, bite the dust.

Count me in.
This morning, Imus began his transformation (maybe sooner) He came out loudly in support of HIS candidate John Kerry. Then he had a L O N G interview with Kerry... all fluff fluff fluff.... Obviously he doesn't want to lose his job.
The most bile inducing has been Chris Matthews. He's turned far left in every way, and he voted for Bush in 2000. What a bunch of "I will do anything to keep my job" folk. They are spineless yes men.

Thanks, Gracey!
Imus has been showing his true colors since January. Matthews has always been a little nutty, but he's finally gone off the deep end.
I've had it with both of them, permanently, and I on't waste a minute on the network that pays them.
