Let them keep it up, really!
Friends of mine who were formerly anti-Bush, have now changed their mind and now get upset at me when I cuss President Bush on a select few issues where he is dead wrong, IMHO.
The liberal media bias is so blatant and incredibly insulting, even people who have never really paid attention to current events and things political, are now angry at the lies they are being force-fed daily. They now turn the news off after the local news, and few watch the "national news" programs anymore. They hit the internet and/or select radio programs. They check with their resident family/co-worker/neighborhood news junkies, and bounce opinions off her/him.
Eyes are opening, and have been doing so all over this country. The only ones who have forgotten 91101 are the unelected media personalities, and their pets, the ignorant socalist liberals.

"Time for some sane family members of 9-11 victims to step up to the plate".

Yep.

Though Im assuming the reason we dont see the sane ones on every channel is they simply have too much class and too much respect for thier loved ones.

I for the life of me cant figure out why noones brought up the fact that 3000 ppl died that day, many men with wives, children etc and all the libs could come up with is FOUR?
thats pathetic. They hardly speak for the majority.

Today has been a hard news day. I just want to pull my hair out, and if possible crawl out of my skin and turn inside out.

Could be i have too much coffee too though;)

Enjoy your dinner, nutmeg. Even "The Sheeple" can see through this fog. Condi will resonate.

Hume doesn't lie, on the other hand.....

Matthews, when interviewing the 9/11 foursome of wives: Ben-Veniste never asked Rice if the PDB warned of attacks, only what the title of the PDB was.

Transcript of that specific portion of the Q&A between Rice and that creep......

BEN-VENISTE: Isn't it a fact, Dr. Rice, that the August 6th PDB warned against possible attacks in this country? And I ask you whether you recall the title of that PDB?

RICE: I believe the title was, Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States.

Now, the ...

BEN-VENISTE: Thank you.

RICE: No, Mr. Ben-Veniste ...

BEN-VENISTE: I will get into the ...

RICE: I would like to finish my point here.

BEN-VENISTE: I didn't know there was a point.

RICE: Given that _ you asked me whether or not it warned of attacks.

BEN-VENISTE: I asked you what the title was.

RICE: You said, did it not warn of attacks. It did not warn of attacks inside the United States. It was historical information based on old reporting. There was no new threat information. And it did not, in fact, warn of any coming attacks inside the United States.

Heard on FN today that 80 seats at the commission meeting had been reserved for victims' families....i.e. widders.

I had enough of him today and could not stomach any more of his biased garbage. His sodium pentathol comment was a side note as was the comment about interrogating Cheney and Bush in separate rooms. I will be surprised if he rebroadcasts those *highly* unprofessional moments. Keep me posted.

The only thing watchable about Chris Matthews is Darrell Hammonds' impersonation of him.....

Why are Freepers watching Mathews? You have to punish these people in the pocketbook.

I haven't watch Matthews in years and cannot understand why anyone on FR does! Not worth my time and if Freepers quit watching his ratings would go down even more!

I am with you 100% about Matthews!

Matthews harped for weeks on the claims that Bush was AWOL challenging anyone that knew him when he served in Alabama and witnessed him there to come forward. I thought he would never let it go. Matthews fixated on the disgruntled ex-military man who made wild accusations that were eventually proven to be unreliable. When witnesses to Bush showing up for duty in Alabama came forward, Matthews (like the rest of liberal media) suddenly dropped the subject.

.

I noticed that, too. He and Russert do that a lot.

Brit Hume is just as partisan as Chris is. Brit is just better at it. If you read a transcript of what Brit has said, it appears perfectly non-partisan and very journalistic, but it is the look in his eye and the smirk on his face that tell the real story. Nobody does it better than Brit. Great to have him on our side.

That same wry, irreverant inflection is why I loved watching David Brinkley read the news all those years ago. Of course it helped that David Brinkley was most often correct.

However, I think Matthews did that because Ben-Veniste attempted to pretend he didn't ask that question by trying to stop Dr. Rice from answering it and clarifying the document to the public with "I didn't realize there was a point."

Ben-Veniste was dishonest and Brit Hume caught him at it :-)

Now they are demanding that the testimonies of Bush and Cheney be public.

Wonder why they haven't demanded that Clinton's testimony be made public?

"She is so consumed with ugly hatred I actually feel no sorrow for the woman, quite frankly."

The 9/11 family representatives at today's hearing are nothing more than the official DNC professional 9/11 victims agaist George W. Bush tag team. They definitely do NOT represent the opinions of the overwhelming majority of 9/11 families, rescure personnel or military.

The alphabet media must think we are all STUPID if we can't simply notice that the same names keep popping up time and time again. Where are all of the hundreds and hundres of outraged victims' families? Easy answer: they don't exist.

Yep, same with ABC radio news just now. Their version of balance is having a widow on who says Bush, Condi and the administration are being obstructionists in getting to the truth.

This response was exactly why the administration wanted to avoid her testifying in public. She did well, but most people had to work, so they rely on the leftwing biased press for review of the testimony. They will always spin it so that the administration looks bad.
