CLINTON TESTIFIES BEFORE 9/11 COMMITTEE - TODAY 4/08/04
Fox News Channel - The Big Story with John Gibson ^ | April 8, 2004 | Self

Posted on 04/08/2004 2:49:27 PM PDT by soozla

John Gibson (Fox News Channel "Big Story") just reported that Clinton evidently gave private testimony to the 9/11 commission today, after the Rice hearing. In his discussion of Clinton's testimony with Commissioner Slade Gorton, he (Gorton) described the testimony that Clinton gave "as more of a conversation" with Clinton about his role leading up to the 9/11 terrorist attacks...............I'm sure there will be more to come

What a shock. Condi Rice gets a grilling. Clinton gets a "conversation." Clinton was in office for 8 years and never effectively fought terrorists. Bush is in office for 8 months before 9/11, which had been planned by the jihadists for years. Therefore it is all Bush's fault.

But of course, they just let him run on and on and on and on as is his style. In other words, bullship bullship and more bullship

Well, I can report that he wasn't in Chappaqua today...You know, as this whole 9/11 hearing blows up in the Dems faces, it may well turn out that Clinton is the one who really gets hurt by it....hopefully...

He was an incompetent anyway. There probably isn't much for him to add to this conversation. Everyone knows what he was busy doing.

No camera, no need to bluster--either for Clinton or for the Committee members.

Hardly. According to Gibsons guest the questioned Rice about why there was never a retaliation for the Cole bombing but never even asked Clinton about it.

That must be why Commission Chairman Kean kept saying they had to finish on time because they had somewhere else to be.

Clinton doesn't have to endure days of speculation from the media. His liberal friends on the damn commission took good care of him. The republicans are really dopes. I'm so angry!

Yes, but decent public servants like Dr. Rice have to be subjected to public interrogation, unfair publicity, and a partisan crowd. That perverted, corrupt, incomopetent louse gets a "private conversation." And of course, the republicans on the commission were more than glad to agree to it.

If you heard Senator Gordon(Gorton?), not only did he classify it as "more conversational" he also described it as Clinton advising the commission on the recommendations they should make going forward (the audacity!) and his "frustrations" in dealing with these issues while he was president.
Yeah, he got a real serious GRILLING...hear the sarcasm?
