The conviction was later reversed. My point is that everyone was ready to crucify Ollie during his testimonyNorth was convicted of misleading Congress in hearings well prior to his public testimony (and that conviction was overturned). He was not under oath in those earlier hearings, but there is a "misleading Congress" crime. Again, the conviction was for appearances a couple years before his famous Congressional testimony.
