Burkett, whose book, "Stolen Valor," is considered to be the definitive history of falsified Vietnam War claims, told WABC Radio's Steve Malzberg that Kerry's former commanders would allege that the top Democrat's Purple Hearts were awarded for "self-reported injuries that were virtually nonexistent."
Burkett's book was among the first to expose many of the phony claims made by John Kerry about U.S. war atrocities.....

I bet it doesn't even get a minute of coverage in the mainstream news said to say.

"Burkett said he had personally spoken to the Navy commanders who were preparing to go public about Kerry's decorations."We shall see who actually reports on it.

But don't you see, the opposition research is paying off. It is a virtual certainty that Kerry will go into the convention with heavy liabilities, even in the eyes of fellow Democrats. The upside is, that no other candidates of sufficient stature have been developed or promoted.
The old adage, you can't beat somebody with nobody, is at work here. Of course, there is Herself, standing in the wings, but remember that most Democrats have become timid creatures, and do not take unnecessarily long risks. The Democrats really don't want to put Herself out at risk at the moment, but they are desperately looking for the least opportunity, the smallest erosion of confidence in Bush, that might afford them some opening, where an "October surprise" may be used to good effect. It almost worked in 2000, with the DUI charge. Doesn't have to be true, it need only be plausible, and delivered at a strategic point in time. Unfortunately for the Democrats, this tactic is a double-edged sword, and now that it is known that use is permitted, should cause them to hesitate to use it themselves.

I'd like to see more of this subject. I totally believe that Kerry (my US Senator) is a complete fraud. I also totally despise Fat Teddy but I do not think that he is as phony as Kerry is.
Kennedy is just a scumbag who has ridden the coattails of his dead brother(s) to an incredible extreme. Kerry, on the other hand, is a scumbag with a padded resume`and the media has been enabling him for a generation now.

former commanders would allege that the top Democrat's Purple Hearts were awarded for "self-reported injuries that were virtually nonexistent." The Boston Globe has reported that Kerry missed one day of duty for the injuries that got him those three Purple Hearts. Ya don't miss an entire day of duty for a "virtually nonexistent" injuries. < /sarcasm>
BTW, the Boston Globe asked Kerry to give permission to release his Navy medical record in order to learn the true extent of his "injuries".
Kerry refused to give permission for it's release.

For those of you who would see how a US Naval officer believed in honor, I refer you to the following link, concerning the late Chief of Naval Operations, Adm. Jeremy Michael Boorda.
http://www.cnn.com/US/9605/16/boorda.6p/ This story took place about eight years ago, and there were some who thought it may have been another example of "Arkancide", but it was later determined to be a suicide.
Gives you an idea how a Kerry Administration would treat the military establishment.

Maybe Kerry's Purple Hearts were the Valentine's Day candy type.

Oh yes, but President Bush has to make public his medical records, service records, pay records and whatever other private records he may have. Rush Limbaugh has his medical records illegally seized and put on the web for all to see, but little Lord Kerry is exempt. Well, we shall see...

I guess when you are the "commander" of a swift boat you can pretty much scratch yourself and put in for a medal. Hey, what's a guy who plans to run for political office supposed to do? Really get wounded or something? That could be dangerous.
