I know Coors is a big money, big name Republican but does anyone know how conservative he is?

Let's hope that his political skills are better than his piss water beer.

Wow. I prefer Bud. Certainly not Milwaukee's Best, my alma mater's default beer.

Before we anoint Pete Coors as the GOP standard-bearer, I'd like to know what he stands for. Schaffer is a pretty good candidate, and we shouldn't drop him for a billionaire unless we're certain that (i) Coors is a true conservative, (ii) Coors will be able to run a winning campaign and (iii) Coors has the experience needed to be a good Senator. I'm not too worried about (iii), assuming that he's been running the brewery all these years and not just appearing in commercials, but (i) and (ii) worry me.

I usually don't have much good to say about Coors, but in this case I'll make an exception and wish him well.

psssssssst............
Being conservative, or better yet, pledging to actually honor one's oath to uphold the constitution, no longer matters.
Name recognition and huge personal wealth is the new model for the gop.

but does anyone know how conservative he is? Not nearly as much as Adolph, but that would be a hard act to follow(there may not be a single FReeper THAT conservative! ;-). I'm pretty sure sure that he would make a great candidate, he is very personable.
I read it when it came out(2000), but I'll have to reread it to give you a good answer on that:
