Coors family has long been supporters of Republicans. And I'll drink to that! As to how conservative this particular Coors is, someone from Colorado neds to jump in.

I don't know how staunch and serious about politics Pete is, we will have to find locals to give us specifics. His father however, as I recall, virtually endowed the Heritage Institute in the sixties with a massive donation that has served as its finacial base for its long history.
