Wasn’t his grandfather Adolph Coors a leading figure of the American Nazi Party, No matter, he’s got no chance…

I don't know how staunch and serious about politics Pete is, we will have to find locals to give us specifics. His father however, as I recall, virtually endowed the Heritage Institute in the sixties with a massive donation that has served as its finacial base for its long history.

Thanks for the contribution to the discussion by the Republican committee member who never has anything positive to say about any Republican candidate.

God, I hope the rest of the Republican county committees vet better than Grafton does.

I am a local. I just don't know how Pete stands on individual issues.

There is no questioning the conservative credentials, name recognition, or money that the Coors family brings to this race.

I'm just looking for details.

I am relieved to hear they are conservatives. For some reason, I guess because they are in Colorado, I thought they were democrats (which shows that one can be woefully ignorant about another state's politics).

Besides money and conservatism, I see another plus:

Mr. Coors has "executive hair." :-)

Actually, I seldom agree with GSC ... but I gotta concur with his assessment of what Coors is like.

It's a beer from Chippewa Falls Wisconsin. I like their "Northwoods"

It's probably regional. I know they ship to Michigan.

Coors, like Rolling Rock, was a much better beer when only available in 4 states. The Coors of today, is not the Coors of the 60s/70s.Unfortunately.

Sadly, Rolling Rock as well, has been tainted by mass production.

Joseph Coors was a conservative, but Pete may or may not be
a conservative.

Are you going to be big time donor, Party Ball level, or a small time contributor, Joe 6 pack level?
