South Park WAS colorforms and stop motion, but that process takes forever so they abandoned it after a few episodes (that actually put in an episode just how painful the stop motion process is when the kids tried to remake the first episode). Then somebody figured out how to make computer animation look almost exactly like colorforms (they never got the shadow under things like in stop motion) but can do a whole ep in a few days.

Personally, I owe him a great debt for his 'HOT BUTTERED SOUL' album. It was the 'go-to' sound track for much 'sweet love' during my early days. "By the time I got to Phoenix" I was rounding 3rd base and going for home.
Thanks for sharing, but that's *way* too much information for me! ;)

Willie is Scottish! Important correction. 'Cause as Willie says, "if it ain't Scottish, it's crrrraap!"
Every episode has at least one line that is funnier, wittier, and/or more profound than any line in any other television show. Sometimes an episode will run off so many great lines you get mad because you know you'll never remember them all.
My favorite from this past Sunday? Homer discovers a 60's era ambulance on the used car lot:
"I bet a lot of hippies were denied care in this thing! Heh heh, injured hippies."

Important important correction...it's the Mike Myers "All things Scottish" store SNL skit that the line, "If it's not Scottish, it's crap!" line comes from...
...sorry...I take my humor verrrrrrrrrrry seriously.

The animation in the Simpsons is a lot better.
