I was standing outside with neighbours yesterday afternoon gossiping when a car drove by, threw a couple of fliers at us, shouting "read them, may Allah increase your reward". The fliers were signed by a group which called itself Saif Allah Albattar (Allah's striking sword) at Ramadi, Fallujah, Adhamiya, and Diyala, which advised Iraqis to remain home on April 9th (the anniversary of the occupation), stating that they would not be responsible if anyone failed to do so.
I seem to recall that our soldiers would say that just as they got attacked, wherever the attack was, the local villagers would somehow know about it in advance, and stayed clear.

BTW, regardless of what, if anything, is up for April 9, it's worth noting that it's not very encouraging if both Al-Sistani and Al-Hakim have turned against us. Not that those Iranian proxies were ever all that reliable, but still..

They are planning a mass suicide. You've heard of "suicide
by cop" - well, this is "suicide by Marine". The past few days have been preparation work, to get the Marines mad enough to make sure that as many rug pilots as possible are able to successfully get killed by Marines so they can get their 72 virgins as soon as possible.

Thanks Phil. I plan to be at a theater watching "The Alamo". They're not gonna ruin my day.

Sadar is most likely the one responsible for the death of Hakim's brother in that explosion awhile back. He may be on Sadar's side because he's a creep, but it may also be because he's in fear of his life.
Al Sistani is in extreme danger and I hope our guys are watching out for him. He's a survivor but Sadar wouldn't even blink an eye having him killed as well. Sistani knows this.

If I were Sistani I would think twice about meeting with Sadr. He should recall what happened to the other cleric who met with Sadr. He sort of got dead. Shall we take bets on whether Sistani meets the same fate?
