I think major combat never really happened. Major combat is huge columns of tanks and troops supported by coordinated air strikes taking on similar assets of the opposing forces. Iraqi forces were like a piss-ant being stepped on by an elephant.

Sure we are losing a few troops in Iraq. That's life. Troops die. Sacrifices must be made to keep one or two of our cities from going up in a nuclear puff.

You sound like someone who doesn't think sacrificing your life for your country would ever be an option.
