Senator Kennedy... should be a little more restrained and careful in his comments
Maybe Powell should have been more careful last year when he said there were WMDs in Iraq and we knew where they were. NOW he tells us he was wrong - - - after 600-plus Americans are dead. Please be a little more restrained and careful next time, Mr. Secretary.

"Restrained?"
Well that's putting it mildly...
Kennedy should put a muzzle on it!
And where are the Republican Senators????
I hope someone passes out the testicles for those guys!!!
They need to put their fellow senator Kennedy in his place and pronto, especially while we are at war and Soldiers and Marines are getting killed!

Kelly

Let's see . . . . 600 Americans dead in Iraq . . . 3,000 dead in NYC. I guess you'd rather fight the battle on American soil.
To: churchillbuff
how do you KNOW there aren't any WMD?....

Powell thought the same thing Clinton thought. Which was the same thing most of the rest of the world believed. That there were WMD's.

Regardless of what you want to call him, his comment is right on target.
Some of us aren't terribly upset, though -- because we recognized the utter fraud of the whole thing back then and got it all out of our system.

I wish one of those gutless republican Senators would get on the Senate floor and bring up Ted Kennedy's history of solving problems and explain to him that we can't simply drown our enemies, we have to fight them
