I detect sarcasm. OK, what would you do, shake your finger and say "Naughty boys, now don't do that anymore"? Get real. The world already hates us, so why not live up to our bad reputation and bring down the iron fist? I would rather be respected than loved.

Now a large minority of them hate us, and the majority are flat indifferent. Face it, Iraqis do not have the will to fight for the democracy we are promising them. Lets set our sights lower and get our troops out of these Iraqi hellholes...I mean cities as soon as possible. No problem. Just vote for Kerry.

>>What week of the year doesn't have a Christian holiday of some sort? Every day is some saint or other's day.<<
Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday are by far the holiest.
However, as the other poster stated (sorry I forgot who) this is the beginning of Passover. They're hitting all of us.

This will not stop the Marines from taking care of business in Fallujah. Apparently you believe we have a Boy Scout troop to cover all of Iraq. Throw me a bone here...did you intend to direct that post to me ?

this "rally" should have been attacked, why wasn't it attacked from the air? these are not "peaceful protestors", they are armed.

McInerny (Gen.)says this guy had to move now since there is a murder warrant out for him. He says heavy fighting will occur. Says this will be watched by the average Iraqi to see of the US stands firm.

Whenever I see a mass of people that hate the USA like this picture. This is when I wonder where is NAPALM?
To: OXENinFLA
Looks like AC-130 gunship bait to me.

Sounded like it was our 'office' guys there, not front line troops he was talking about. Thanks for clearing that up

No doubt the foreign leftist creeps who hate America over at DU.com are giddy with joy over this development.
I hope they choke on their champagne corks.

I agree however you forgot one thing, we present a "bill" for the cost of liberating them, which they pay for in oil, lots of it

They should have never been given a chance. Fallujah should have been razed after the fall of Baghdad. If the 4th ID had been allowed to attack from Turkey, Fallujah would have been attacked before Baghdad.

I have no doubt that this will be handled properly and we are not Middle Easterners. People have to realize that it takes hard work and time. Rome wasn't built in a day (this is an original saying but you can use it.) My God we have only been at this for a year NOT twenty.
We have a tremendous brilliant leadership team in place and a marvelous military. They will all do a great job and have been.
Don't get all hysterical on us now over a few skirmishes and riots.

Fallujah is going to be one bastard of a nut to crack. But we will do it. Same for al-Ramadi. And an-Najaf. And an-Nassiriyah. And Tikrit. It has been coming to this for the last 11 months. Enough of this garrisoned, defensive Coalition operation of Iraqi, trying to nation-build while dodging all these IEDs and bullets.
Yep. Time to clean it out for good, even if it takes a month or two of intense onslaught with no letup. Otherwise, we have no business being there with the incorrigible, fanatical "VC" allowed to freely peddle their dangerous wares in all these Iraqi villages and hamlets, nor President Bush risking his reelection on a fickle and impatient US public and media. Better this battle now than in October and November. Time for scorched earth. Time for payback. Embargo the international press out of there.
Time for complete order to be restored and Uncle Sam to be unequivocably worshipped by the utterly vanquished, even if it is under a Marine's boot.
