Seems kinda strange when Senators make policy for the U.S but when you question them...they say they don't have time for you...I wrote to Hillary and the response I received was.."you are not a constituant"...even tho her policy's affect me here in Idaho.....
and yes....if you convert 'cause you are not willing to die for your beliefs...then you do not deserve to live...live as a coward??...or die for your beliefs.....look into your heart...and you will find the answer....

The next time Fox News gives their news update try to listen. I am not going to post what I thought I heard the reporter say in the last update of the US deaths, because I am not sure that I heard correctly. But she did say some of the casulties were pretty bad.

It'd be nice to know an accurate enemy body count...we can guess....but to pin point it to...66...or 70...or 130....no way....have to add a percentage to even come close....more like...between 70 and 90 dead...or 130 and 160 dead...to that effect....just my two cents...

Rummy would have him for lunch...if O'Really tried to attack Rummy and raise his voice...Rummy would put him in his place...

Saddam being held in Qatar: report Tue Apr 6, 7:19 PM ET LONDON (AFP) - Deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein is being held at a US military base in Qatar, rather than in Iraq.
Following his capture by US forces in December last year, Saddam was first moved to a US aircraft carrier in the Gulf for interrogation, a British newspaper reported, without citing its sources.
He was then -- at a time not specified by the report -- transferred to Qatar under great secrecy, with even the state's royal family not informed of his presence.
Major violence in Iraq over recent days which has seen more than 100 Iraqis killed as well as 20 coalition troops, meant Qatar was now seen as a far safer place to keep the ousted leader, the paper added.
In December, Qatar's government dismissed earlier news reports that Saddam had been moved to the emirate, while Iraq's interim Governing Council insisted that he was still being held in Baghdad.
At the end of the last month, Saddam's wife left Syria for Qatar, according to a Jordanian lawyer who says she retained him to represent her husband.

Ok...you know what??..I'm surprised you FReepers didn't see this coming......for the last several months...the administration has been reporting on Sadr and talking about his militia and disarming them.....they have just been putting it off for the right time.....they knew it would mean american deaths trying to disarm his militia...the opportunity came after last weeks slaying of the 4 americans in Falluja..this was inevitable...be prepared for more in the future...some not as bad...and some worse....

*bump*
I too have utmost confidence in the conduct of the top levels of this administration. I may not agree with the politics, but they do their business with honorable purpose, conscience, and with effect that can only be obtained with experience.

It just seems to me...a lot of people aren't listening to what the admininstration says...they make it so obvious to read inbetween the lines....

It just seems to me...a lot of people aren't listening to what the admininstration says...they make it so obvious to read inbetween the lines.... The media is not "obviously presenting" what the administration says, hence lots of people aren't hearing it.
And so goes the battles, and the war.

A lot of people just listen to what they want to hear...next time Bush, Rummy, Bremer, etc talk...listen to what they are saying...not what you want to hear...

A lot of people just listen to what they want to hear...next time Bush, Rummy, Bremer, etc talk...listen to what they are saying...not what you want to hear... Sage advice. And also, take a moment to ponder the words used, e.g., "Political turnover" does not equal "military pullout." It never did, and yet the media presentation encouraged a perception of equivalance.

"There were 150 cars around the base full of al-Sadr supporters," Szmajdzinski told the TVN television. "Al-Sadr decided to show to the world and the Iraqis that he exists."
And why weren't those 150 cars destroyed with air strikes? They are going to have to be dealt with sooner or later. We need to step up our air strikes significantly.

A lot of people just listen to what they want to hear...next time Bush, Rummy, Bremer, etc talk...listen to what they are saying...not what you want to hear... A lot of people are at work when Rummy & Bremer particularly are talking, and have trouble listening to the whole thing -- therefore they mainly hear the soundbites the media presents.
This post not intended as an insult to them or you, just a statement of the facts.
