Thank you for posting. It's painful for me to even think about watching the morning SHeeple programs.

Katie's questions reminds me of a CBS reporter who was interviewing a brave soldier who was badly burned while in duty in Iraq and the reporter basically asked the soldier if he was mad due to his disfigurement that he wasn't able to attract women.
The 20 year old soldier answered that he was proud to serve and showed more grace and self-respect than the CBS reporter had in his little finger.

Thanks for the East Coast (or satellite) heads-up. I hate that "tone", that affectation Katie wears when she pretends to really give-a-s***.

Katie just did a segment on the recent findings that very young children should not be allowed to watch tv because it rewires their brains and may cause ADD and hyperactivity in later life.
She just saw her future core audience diminish radically.

"He stated that his son's life had not been taking a good path until he joined the Marines, and that the Marines had turned Jeffrey into "the perfect son."
I wish there were some way for Freepers to get in touch with Mr. Morris and express our gratitude, condolences and pride in Jeffrey's service to the nation.

"Katie, the Leftist Terrorist's Mouthpiece
Blyth reveals:
Katie Couric wrote in a letter to left-wing Unabomber terrorist Ted Kaczyinski that she would like to give him the chance to explain his experiences to our huge audience, to share your views and how she "would be more than happy to just come and meet with him if he thought it would be helpful."
The above is from newsmax.com book review:
"Myrna Blyth, longtime editor-in-chief of Ladies' Home Journal, for years had a firsthand look at women in the media. Now she lifts the curtain, revealing how magazines and TV exploit womens emotions, pushing a message that all American women are perpetual victims. Spin Sisters: How the Women of the Media Sell Unhappiness and Liberalism to the Women of America (St. Martins Press) is the compelling inside story of the powerful influence the media have on all women today."

In a fair world, Today Show would have to run a continous crawl across the bottom of the TV screen whenever Katie was on the air: "Clinton-Kerry-Dem Butt Kisser"

Bump and thanks!
