Clinton Would Have Stopped 9/11

Its now obvious that the 22nd Amendment barring third presidential terms punishes the nation more than the politician....After three years of George Bushs flailings, who doesnt yearn for Clintons steady, nuanced leadership? We would have been spared those fiscally destructive tax cuts, the environment would not have been despoiled, and America would not be an outcast among nations. With a serious and non-ideological foreign policy team which had already thwarted at least two major terrorist attacks, theres every reason to believe that if voters could have elected Bill Clinton to a third term, September 11th would have been just a day just like any other. Newsweek Senior Editor Jonathan Alter in Time to Bring Back Bubba, in the April 1 edition.

This was in Newsweek by the Senior Editor - HOLY MOLEY! The word "nuanced" is big right now with liberals, just like they learned and fell in love with "quadmire." Wake me up.

What's the deal? No passed out in the gutter puking straight up barf alert? If Hillery is a three bagger, this story is a 4 bagger.

Clintons steady, nuanced leadership? HAHAHAHAHA! This stuff is better than Leno! I never knew Newsweak had such comic talent. "Steady" ... HAHAHAHA "leadership" ... chortle, guffaw! Stop! It hurts!

this just proves that the liberals actually have their own reality, detached from facts or anything that is occurring. Its like a Star Trek episode. Clinton, whose stewardship of the nation's intelligence and law enforcement, led directly to 9/11, could have stopped it.

Did I get it all wiped off my chin, Bill?
To: NotchJohnson
What a crock! Clinton would have made the same kind of 'deals' with AQ as he did with North Korea. Clinton was only out for himself and his 'legacy'. He didn't give a rats ass about Americans.

It is a joke.

They have a "word of the week" on their talking points. Remember when it was "draconian"? Then a while later it was "mean-spirited".
They play childish games and appeal to childish voters.

My respect for Bush just went up a notch, the looney toons are pulling their hair out. Win or lose in 2004 it has been one of the most interesting years for watching the wackos spin and blather.
That's not the sky falling liberals, it's a MOAB.

No, I don't know Alter. If he was serious, then the fact that it was published in the April 1 edition is very funny.
