I'd just like to get my Congresscritter (Kolbe) and Chief RINO (McCain) to actually reply to an email instead of getting a blow off auto reply or a say nothing reply from a staffer that could care less about anything but the next day off.

Is there anything in their oath of office that say politicians must respond to voters after the vote?
Ignoring problems is a way of life in DC and state capitols.

Yes, but that's why I and others are working to replace Kolbe with Randy Graf. Maybe he'll listen to us.

But the ICE agents are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country.LOL!! Well, they could find them if they wanted to. All you have to do is ride down almost any street in America and you can see 10 to 20 of them standing around on street corners. The problem is they don't want to find them.
Remember - seventeen of the nineteen 9/11 hijackers were here on passport or visa violations. If the governent had been doing it's job of detaining and deporting these people 9/11 would have never happened. Or at least the results of 9/11 would not have been so devastating.
I saw some poll figures coming out of Florida the other day and Kerry is leading Bush 58% to 30 some odd percent for the Hispanic vote. I believe most of us predicted that Bush would not carry the Hispanic vote.
Deport all of them!!

You rang? I am The Tack, Big Blue Corpuscle for Conservative Justice!
I got to hear Tom Tancredo Saturday evening exhort us to continue harrassing our representatives because our input does shape their actions. That was very heartening to hear. NumbersUSA, your own emails and real mail shape policy. Without it, to paraphrase a bad phrase, the scumbags will have already won.
Bitch, moan, pitch a tantrum or send a polite note. Otherwise your reps only have special interests' word that the invasion is fine with everyone. If you don't tell them otherwise you'll only have yourself to blame when they come looking for your candy to stuff in their pinata.

Nope, nothing in the oath about it. However, being an elected official, you need to respond to those that voted you in or else you get voted out. Think of it as helping with job security.

"I have a better idea....let's start electing politicians who are going to carry out the will of the people."Well that's the way its supposed to work, but where are these hypothetical candidates about which you speak? With a nod to Edmund Burke, evil is triumphing because good men are doing nothing. In order to elect candidates who will serve We The People, they have to volunteer to run first. In our modern society, its hard enough finding people trustworthy enough to take the reins of government, much less who are willing to run.
The time's a-comin' when the people are going to have to rise up and reassert their will on those who pretend to serve us, while actually serving themselves and the UN.

Mexican-born workers and unskilled native-born workers have a similar distribution across occupations. Thus, natives who lack a high school education and Mexican immigrants appear to be doing the same kind of jobs and are therefore in competition with one another. Hispanics have a very high drop out rate so they are the ones in competition for the low-skilled jobs being taken by the immigrants. Most of the guest workers have at most a 3rd grade and foreign education --- why build and support so many schools if what we really need are illiterate workers? It looks like we're just wasting money building schools.

Thanks for asking, citizen. I am kept
warm by a nifty underlining of truth
and the wash & wear padding of liberty!
I'm busy trancribing the Congressman's speech from my tiny memo gizmo,
so pardon me if I drop out for a while. I'll ping you when it's done.
