BOSTON - John Kerry (news - web sites) waved a palm with his left hand during Sunday church service as the Democratic presidential candidate made his first public appearance since having surgery to on his right shoulder.
Kerry, a Massachusetts senator, did not speak to the congregation at Charles Street AME Church, but the Rev. Gregory Groover recognized him from the pulpit as "the next president of the United States."
"We're thankful that there's going to be a revolution in this country," Groover said. "A new day has occurred, a new movement. And so we praise God for the president. And we say God, bring him on." Kerry had outpatient surgery last Wednesday to repair torn tendons in his right shoulder and bicep. He met with campaign advisers in his Boston home, but had no public appearances until observing Palm Sunday at Charles Street AME Church.
Although Kerry's doctor had warned that he may have trouble moving his right arm for several days after the surgery, Kerry did not wear a sling Sunday and used his right arm to shake hands, take communion and hold the bible.
He was returning to Washington on Sunday night.

So much for separation of church and state. I think that church's tax exempt status should now be in question.

God,I think I'm going to be sick
I wonder how many blacks Kerry and Teresa have had socially to one of their many homes?
All blacks should be insulted by this blatant behaviour in order to get black votes. They are being used and the snart ones know it.

The Democrats and their Black preachers....partners in crime.
Yet, the poor bastards are too stupid to see how they've been used by these super rich and elitest Socialists posing as Democrats.
Too many blacks remain enslaved..
Enslaved by their Socialist masters, and their dependancy on welfare..

Second Sunday in a row Kerry skips going to Mass.
He's obviously nervous about the doubts being voiced about him in various Catholic circles, so he goes to a black church.
He wants to be the second black president, you know?

Stupid is as stupid does. As far as removing this church's tax exempt status, most (all?) black churches are demonrat and probably know the same demonrat creative accounting practices used by demonrat hollywood, resulting in absolutely no possible profits, and therefore, no possible taxes anyway.

Second Sunday in a row Kerry skips going to Mass. Curious. sink. If he shows up at your parish, would you remind the priest that he should be denied Communion?

Hmmmm....a few weeks ago the media repeatedly stated that Kerry wouldn't be shaking any hands and his right arm would be in a sling. More media lies?
To: EggsAckley
Yeah....it was for something other than his arm. But we'll never know because he won't reveal his medical records. And, frankly, after November....no one will care anyway.

If he shows up at your parish, would you remind the priest that he should be denied Communion? I doubt Kerry will spend much time in Texas. And, he would likely go to some large church in Dallas or Fort Worth rather than our small city.

After all, the Catholic church has quite a different understanding of the Eucharist than do the "black chuches" where the DemoPimp seems to find to his liking these Sunday's in Holy Week.

Fuuny how that works isn't it? Clinton, Gore, Kerry, etc, have all given political speaches inside of black churches. Let a republican try that and the crap would be all over the news networks as being unfair and a violation of campaign laws.
To: nwrep
Kerry might want to be the second "black president", but there is no doubt he would be the most ugly white President in American History if elected. His face looks like its melting. I know, time for another "why the long face ,John?" joke.
