>>The statement didn't much impress Liddy, who said he stands by his original comments.

Now, let's not distract "G" with any stinkin' facts....he don't need no stinkin' facts...

There is some validity to Liddy's statement. O'Reilly's ratings are low enough in the Omaha market to move the replay of his show to the 5 pm hour. When the announcement was made this past week, the program director said O'Reilly just can't compete with Rush. They're running a local talk show during that time slot.

Bill's feud with Franken sure ignited Franken's success. For someone who endlessly dishes it out, Bill sure has thin skin.

"He really doesn't do radio well at all," the G-Man added.

Got to agree with the G-Man here. The Radio Factor is a totall non factor. Talk about a real yawner. Bill's tv show isn't that bad in small doses. Don't know why Bill felt the need to do a radio show as well. Wasn't like he needed the money.

When Liddy starts schmoozing with the likes of Baldy Begala and the ever Feckless and insulting Franken Liddy must be off his Meds.

Why a Conservative such as liddy starts warring with each other the Leftists and liberals love it.

Liddy has gone down a couple of pegs in my book.

Liddy's show sucks and blows nearly all the time. He even has spokesmen from PETA on and raves about what a great organization they are.

Liddy's son Tom has a great local radio show on the local Clearchannel affiliate at evening drive time here in Phoenix

thats him on the left, on the right is Austin Hill, the other host of Liddy & Hill. Tom Liddy is also the Maricopa County GOP chairman and a former Marine. On fridays they do a hilarious skit "PC Fridays," where they try to be PC for an hour by emulating mindless vegetarian animal rights hippies.

If I had to pick on man on the face of this earth to watch my back, it would be Liddy. Why the heck he gets along with Franken is beyond me, but he is a "hero proved in liberating strife."

Let's see...they both work for the same company, which means that they both have acess to the same ratings data on each other.

Neither is above a little publicity-seeking (to put it mildly)

This has all the marks of a pro-wrestling-style WORK.

It's an angle, pure and simple...they "feud" on-air, and both get extra ink and listeners.

Don't think I've thought positively as often about O'Reilly recently as in the past. Can't quite put my finger on it but I think it is the same feeling I got about Rush on days when he was too self-absorbed and spent an inordinant amount of time defending himself rather than talking about things of national interest.

Watch it people...Don't fall into the old divide and conquer trap. O'reilly is a pompous, arrogant a$$, but he's OURS.

He has also been one of the loudest advocates of putting our military on the border with mexico.

Don't like O'Reilly, do what I do and change the channel, but keep your eye on the real enemy here, John Kerry.

[To the astonishment of fans and foes alike, Franken announced that he was a personal friend of Liddy's, referring to him throughout simply as "G."]

This is not exactly an astonishment to anybody who's ever listened to G. Gordon Liddy's show -- Franken has been a guest on Liddy's show many times, and Liddy appeared on Franken's sitcom Lateline a bunch of times as well.

Anyhow, O'Reilly is stupid in whining. Franken is trying to provoke a reaction out of him, and he's getting it.

The powerfull OZ behind the curtain, Bill O'Reilly does not like to be mocked! He is the all powerfull conservative on radio, all hail Bill O'Reilly!

Personally, I love it when Neal Boortz rips O'Reilly, it gets under his skin, then he does another typically stupid thing (a la Liddy) to give everyone some humor.

I'll take Liddy over O'Reilly any day. I'll even take Franken over O'Reilly. And I really mean that. O'Reilly has nothing going on in his head but thoughts of how great he is.
