Dennis Kucinich is going to be on our campus for a question/answer session at 7:30 this morning. Of course I'm going to put him on the spot. I think I've got some good brain-busters for him, but I was wondering for some of your opinions too. Kucinich has one of the most quasi-socialist domestic agendas I've ever seen, so I thought maybe something pertaining to that would be nice too. Thanks!

Mr. Kucinich, when you're really revved up, how many brain cells can you get firing at the same time? Two? Maybe three?

Socialism has tried and failed in countless countries in the past, including the collapse of a former superpower, the USSR. What makes you think it can succeed here, given its poor hisorical record and its cost in terms of pollution, disease, famine, poverty and death? Or do you desire those last things for the US?

Or:

Socialists say "from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" while free-market economists say that each person should act in his own self-interest, by selling goods or services to others. What makes you think people, generally, would work as hard for others as they would for themselves, and they don't, why won't the US collapse just like the USSR did? Or do you seek to have the US collapse?

I already had a tax-related question that was pretty similar to the "socialist countries/tax/prosperity". The rest are pretty funny and I would love to use some like that, but I doubt I'll get to ask more than one or two questions before I'm booed and kicked out. It's gonna be great!
