Greetings, Canteeners, Troops,
and All the Ships at Sea!
Sarge is taking a break at home from Drill Weekend (hence the uniform), to see what's up hereabouts.
And YEESH! what a party I'm missing! Y'all sprang forward, didncha?
they're having fun doin' all that hooah macho soldier stuff!
You forget, Star, this being the 21st Century, the girls are out there, with us. Today was the Compass Course, and I took along with me one of the young female recruits for the ride. We left in the middle of the pack, and went so fast through the course, I was sure we would be among the first back - until we couldn't find the last point. The delay cost us..
Tex, I am in awe of your work tonight at the Sock Hop! Magnificent! Great variety and volume of songs, great fun!
I'll be here a little tonight Gang, but probably not here at all tomorrow. We're a little busy Sunday, and it'll be a bit until I get here.
Let's have fun!
