Frontline asked to interview Clarke for this story....HE REFUSED TO BE INTERVIEWED. Frontline put his picture up while saying he refused. It was soooo funny.

LIES and more lies.
The UN was told by the Canadian/UN Peace Keeper OIC that some sort of "large scale" violence was coming weeks before it happened.
He tried to get permission to act on these reports and seize weapons and gather more intell.
Koffi Annan, who was in charge of the UN department that handles peace keepers, waffled and said no.
He didn't want to disturb or "aggravate" the possibly volatile situation.

I haven't read this yet, but it is a bunch more than they had on tv. What they had on tv was not at all flattering to Clinton, Albright, Clarke and the whole bunch of criminals.

No wonder Clarke apologized so profusely. In addition to not taking Al-Qaeda seriously, He didn't take Ruanda seriously, even after 300,000 had already been hacked to death.

I felt the same way. I don't need to read the drivel to know she didn't do a damb thing as SECST. Worthless. freaking worthless. When will the curse of Bubba be broken?. Gore. Clarke. Notbright...etc. Why oh why are we cursed with these stooges?. God help us.

I watched it too... Extremely Ironic that Clarke will go on the Daily Show but won't do an interview with PBS that *might* make Clinton look bad.

It was amazing that all the terrorist's have the Somalia playbook now (and have had it for over ten years), but the Democrat's are still calling for a "cut and run"

Clarke cancelled a scheduled appearance on Hardball with Chris Matthews earlier in the week. I don't know whether he showed up for the as rescheduled for the next day.

Clarke is finding it harder and harder to keep up with the variations of his stories.

I missed it last night! The only reason I heard about it was some caller on Hannity's show mentioned it. I wonder if it will be reshown.I sure hope so.

I watched this program last night and it was very difficult to watch! This was not a good report for the Clinton admin.

I'm not sure how accurate it was, because I never studied any written articles about this event.

The thing that got to me the most was when the UN troops went to the USA Embassy with vehicles and took ONLY WHITE PEOPLE into the vehicles, until some of the staff lied and said that some of the black people were American citizens (in order to save their lives); the woman was about to burst into tears as she told the story of the convoy not allowing any BLACK PEOPLE to get onboard.

As the convoy was driving to wherever they were to meet up with American troops, there were groups all along the way all holding those very large knives (machetes).

This was SOOOOOOO RACIST, I cannot believe PBS did this story and indicted the Clintons so explicitly. Amazing!
