Did you change your hosts file during the outage? If so, go back & delete that quadrette number line.

It must have been on this end...got right through this time on the regular url. Dang puter locked up and had to kick the boot and scan...

I ran into a weird situation with my new DSL service a few months ago- I could get on virtually every regular site I visit- except FR. It had worked fine for months, except for being slower than advertised. Claimed speed was 256K/256K but dslreports.com routinely reported about 145K/85K.
After about a week of screwing around with BellSouth tech services, including wiping the drive ( after clearing temp folders & cookies didn't work ) and getting a new modem, they finally determined that line noise was making FR reject my signal.
They tweaked the line and added some filters, and it's been fine- and faster- ever since.
