The Coding of an Attack

Prior to previous and significant terrorist attacks, a "coded message" was posted on an Arabic forum. This message cryptically referred to a series of numbers and in particular, "Four-four" or "4 4." The following is an incomplete listing of forum messages, supplemented by information concerning the consequential or "planned" attacks believed to be referenced by the "4 4" message. The resurrection of the "4 4" message and references thereto are being noted in Islamic Jihad messages. The following is a compilation of messages, with notations made by analysts. The information is being analyzed for consideration in the possible attacks in the US during Ramadan 2003. Analysts note: although there are three locations of interest- New York, Washington, DC and Los Angeles, CA, analysts are considering the following scenario:

An initial "blast from the sea" may strike the east coast of New York, possibly in a harbor and/or near the New York-New Jersey border. The nature of this blast will most likely be radiological in nature. Following this blast, it is expected that some type of communication by terrorists will be attempted with US leaders. Failing that, a rapid succession of blasts could occur at the "remaining" locations. For those readers keeping count, this would account for only three (3) attacked cities or sites. Analysts are split between a "fourth" blast in tandem with the third (i.e. Los Angeles AND the Silicone Valley area of California) ---or a "fourth blast elsewhere in the US, possibly at a United States landmark. Considering the latter, analysts have noted an obvious interest with Yellowstone National Park, which is the site of active earth-seismic activity. The following cryptic messages have been used to consider the various possible scenarios:

It exploded in America in the air 4 4..! (Referring to 9/11 - Four hijacked airliners in the United States) It exploded in Riyadh on land 4 4..! (Referring to four terrorist bombings on Monday, 12 May 2003 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, killing at least 34 people and injuring hundreds of others. The string of attacks occurred in quick succession; the fourth explosion occurred early Tuesday morning outside the headquarters of a joint U.S.-Saudi owned company in the Saudi capital. And it exploded on land in Morroco 4 4..! (Referring to four blasts that hit Casablanca, Morocco within 30 minutes of each other on Friday, 16 May 2003, killing approximately 40 people and injuring at least 100 more. Four targets were the Hotel Safir, a Jewish community center, a Spanish restaurant and the Belgian consulate. Morocco's Interior Minister Mustapha Sahel said there were similarities between the bombings in Casablanca and Riyadh. Contemporaneous Message found during the attack at Casablanca: "Four explosions shake Casablanca in Morocco and number of the casualties are 4 hitting 5 =20 until now...Four four she shakes the defeatists..." Followed by: And tomorrow Yemen is four four And god willing 10 10 in Yemen Yemen: Plotted Attacks Foiled; August 2003: Four types of attacks: (1) shoulder-launched surface-air missile fire directed at passenger planes during takeoff or landing; (2) the hijacking of airliners for crashing down over city centers; (3) the downing of light planes loaded with explosives; (4) the detonation of bomb vehicles or suicide bombers at commercial, shopping or tourist centers. In the couple of years I've been checking that site, (daily), I've never seen mention of an explosion. So I emailed the British Geological Survey to ask if it was unusual; and here is their reply:

It is not unusual for events like this to occur, however, these events do not usually appear on the home page unless they have been felt or are of magnitude greater than 2.5 ML. The Jersey events have been removed from the list on the web as they were posted there by accident.

Hmm!!! Very odd. And before anyone asks, no there is no mining of any sort on the Island of Jersey :)

Ray also said that the airplanes that were buried in the sand, would take very little work to fly again, something about a spray that could have been used and an air hose to blow or pull the sand out.

Ray is a born mechanic and our father was also, the first car that I ever drove was one that Dad put together out of car parts that were laying around, covered in sand on the Texas farm we were share cropping.

He never did get a good radiator or windows for it, but it ran fine, if you stopped every MILE and refilled the radiator.
