US Promises to Punish Those Responsible for Gruesome Iraq Attacks
The top U.S. official in Iraq says Wednesday's gruesome attacks on four American civilians whose burned bodies were put on display in the town of Fallujah will not go unpunished.
"It's going to be deliberate, it will be precise and it will be overwhelming," U.S. General Mark Kimmitt said, speaking to reporters in Baghdad. He warned insurgents in the town of Fallujah to be prepared for U.S. forces to strike back following Wednesday's killing of four American contractors by a frenzied mob that dragged their charred bodies through the streets.
Televised footage of the act has provoked outrage from Americans in the United States and led U.S. administrator in Baghdad Paul Bremer to issue a warning.
"Their deaths will not go unpunished," he promised.
The White House blamed the attacks on supporters of Saddam Hussein. The remains of the four were to be turned over to the U.S. military.
A day after the attack, three American soldiers were injured in another attack near Fallujah, this time when their Humvee struck a roadside bomb.

It does look awfully lonesome, all alone in the middle of Oklahoma.
With the strange weather, strange earthquakes are not surprising.

So, I will just stay here on the Matrix, I hate getting yelled at. That's why I love this thread. Everyone's opinion is heard and respected (no matter the degree of tinfoil).

AP Enterprise: How Uzbek teen may have been transformed into suicide bomber
Associated Press Writer
Sunday, April 25, 2004
(04-25) 10:14 PDT TASHKENT, Uzbekistan (AP) --
...That was before her transformation beginning a couple of years ago, her parents said, into a zealous Muslim who studied Arabic so she could read the Quran and always wore a veil -- and ending when she allegedly blew herself up March 29 at a Tashkent bazaar in the country's first-ever suicide attack.
Authorities say 19-year-old Khalmuradova killed two police officers and a 4-year-old child, part of a chain of other suicide attacks, assaults on police and explosions that killed at least 47 people, mostly alleged militants. Her older sister, Shakhnoza, is now on the run, accused in wanted posters as a would-be "kamikaze."
President Islam Karimov has said the perpetrators were brainwashed, and he has urged teachers to help students resist such influences. The country's top prosecutor says the militants were influenced by extremist groups, and some were trained abroad by al-Qaida Arabs.
The girls' parents, who are not religious, said they were so alarmed by their daughters' direction that last year they grounded them.
"I didn't like it, I had the maternal feeling that it had to stop, that something wrong was going on," said their mother, Zahro.
But the daughters maintained phone contact with Islamic teachers, the parents say.
again. ...
...Some opposition parties and human rights groups have said the attacks may have been motivated by the regime's oppression and the lack of economic opportunity in this former Soviet republic.
But Zahro said her girls had everything.
"They used the girls," she said. "These terrorists programmed them, hypnotized them."

I got trounced this morning on another thread for saying the ceasefire in Iraq was wrong blah blah blahIknow just what you mean. More than once I've typed my true feelings about the ceasefire and how to deal with the occupants of Falluja and have erased it because of flaming fears by those who place full trust in our military strategists. Like Indie, I'm fed up with PC behavior dealing with hateful fanatic barbarians whose only interest is brutally killing non-believers, coalition troops, contractors and aid people whose sole purpose is to help Iraquis with food, medical and rebuilding needs before they self-govern. Those who stand in the way need to be removed by whatever means it takes.

I could not agree with you more!!! I am so sick and tired of "proper etiquette and politically correct" that I could just freaking scream!!! Our troops are equipped to deal with these idiots so why the heck can't they do just that??? As you said... no matter what President Bush does or says there will be people and countries that condemn him.So what???? I don't believe there has ever been a time when everyone in the world liked us. I pray that he will give the commands that will untie the hands of our troops so they can squash these uprisings once and for all. I'm sorry all, I'm just absolutely livid.
On another thread, they said that 50 Iraqi vehicles were allowed to come extremely close to the Polish compound. WHY??!?!?!?! They certainly weren't on their way to dinner!
Turn them to toast!!!
<rant off... for the time being""
RANT is still freaking on! The words I posted on April 6th to this thread are still exactly how I feel today. Actually, now that I see how long ago I posted my rant, I'm even more furious that we are still not turning the desert into obsidian!

Glad you found this, it shows the story is being reinvented and recirculated and probably prophetic a mere 5%
