US Promises to Punish Those Responsible for Gruesome Iraq Attacks

The top U.S. official in Iraq says Wednesday's gruesome attacks on four American civilians whose burned bodies were put on display in the town of Fallujah will not go unpunished.

"It's going to be deliberate, it will be precise and it will be overwhelming," U.S. General Mark Kimmitt said, speaking to reporters in Baghdad. He warned insurgents in the town of Fallujah to be prepared for U.S. forces to strike back following Wednesday's killing of four American contractors by a frenzied mob that dragged their charred bodies through the streets.

Televised footage of the act has provoked outrage from Americans in the United States and led U.S. administrator in Baghdad Paul Bremer to issue a warning.

"Their deaths will not go unpunished," he promised.

The White House blamed the attacks on supporters of Saddam Hussein. The remains of the four were to be turned over to the U.S. military.

A day after the attack, three American soldiers were injured in another attack near Fallujah, this time when their Humvee struck a roadside bomb.

Actually, there is a simple solution and rather cost effective, too.

The FBI can give the warrants to the local law enforcement agencies to serve. The Law enforcemennt Agencies can in turn bill the FBI for services rendered. The FBI can ask the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to allow money in the FBI budget to be allotted for this service. So simple and costs less than hiring more FBI agents.

Yes...I think that was the word. A nice name for a comet. Then there is that link posted last night about some comet being hidden from us by shutting down Soho and spiking the images. Just the view of a major comet could get the Jihad's all thinking it was time to strike.

AP, I think you are dead on in your scenario.

We have been seeing real trials of what is to come over the last month or so. They are probing the system hard now, IMHO. Checking to see how we will respond so they can set up delayed attacks to cause the most chaos and disrupt emergency teams.

I'm not sure how it is in other parts of the country, but begining the Thursday before Good Friday, ALL radio stations in the Toledo, Ohio market area began running homeland security ads during the 3-6 pm rush hour. They run them at least once an hour through that 3 hour period everyday now. I'm not up early enough to know about the morning rush hour.

I never thought that I would post either that statement or the one about the mosques. Intensive reading has completely changed my opinion.

This IS war,(it was declared on us back in 98 I think.) Our enemies- though some may well live in caves and hold primitive views about women as human beings- not only live among us, but possess weapons of mass destruction as well.

How would, for example, China react, if we were constantly braying that we would soon destroy their country; God willing?

And if we were not only bragging, but actively attempting to hit their cities with WMD? (Not to mention attempts to blow up critical infrastructure; poison their water supplies, spread deadly epidemics among their people, etc.)

And if they had foiled numerous attempts on our part to attack their civilians and those of their allies with WMD?

And if we had still managed to strike them despite our security measures.

And if they had concluded that horrific attacks were "inevitable".

IMO- China would act in her self interest and threaten the US with massive retaliation.

Turns out it was a cold cooking meth lab, not a car bomb. Quayle didn't specify if it really was 4 Pakistani's or not.

The vehicle that was pulled over on the 12th of April was a "cold-cooking" meth lab. When the arresting officers called in the licence plate number, the plate came up with a terrorist red flag. Immediately, KBTV dispatched their TV crew to the scene of the arrest. The individuals in the vehicle were associated with the Aryan Nations and tagged as terrorists. The two individuals, independent of each who notified me of this story, were both law enforcement related. One was associated with mall security in Beaumont and the other was an active duty law enforcement officer. Due to limited news coverage, important details were left out and the two individuals "filled in some blanks". The law enforcement officer that I spoke to who gave the me the whole picture, was absolutely exemplary in his attention to detail. "

Seems a far cry from a carbomb packed with explosives driven by Pakistani Jihadists. Putting incorrect info out is almost as bad as covering info up, maybe worse.

Hidden in Plain View...

Key words and phrases are the key to this system. Initial instructions are released either by blogs or tapes depending who the originating source is. Sometimes the instructions tell you where to go for the information being conveyed. Sometimes a scavenger hunt is created and a book has to be reviewed such as Hamlet or a movie needs to be watched.

The clue that was released this time referred to The Wizard of Pung's Corner, by Frederik Pohl. Keywords released referenced in this writing led directly to a cute, interactive art site. The art site independently is quite meaningless. However, the implications conveyed is very consistant with the communications that we have been monitoring over the past few
months.

Disturbingly, the Al Battar, analyzed by Laura Mansfield, that was released yesterday covers many of the same messages in this art site that I found Tuesday, April 13th.

This art site consists of 100s of crude 2 dimensional child like sketches. Not all are visibly accessable. The ones that are visible are not laid out in the order they were created but rather in a plan of action.

The pictures to date consist of:

Ships with Pirate Flags insinuating references to Kitty Hawk

Some of these ships have large antennae on them that look like Electromagnetic Antennas

Pictures with the ships and the strange antennae are surrounded by huge waves

Pictures implying assassinations. The specific referencing in this picture implied the target was a leader in the UK

IMHO, the muslims living in our midst now are a 5th column. If you watch them (and I do these days), they really don't like us Americans too much and it shows on their faces. Once there are enough of them, they will show their true colors. Again, just my humble opinion....

I agree with you again AP. I think they will find out that all is not well and good when the s**t really hits the fan. I think in the US you will see Muslims being shot on site by some if a big attack comes. I think it will be the same in Europe.

They think that they will be able to use the laws and ACLU like groups to protect them. It isn't going to be that way, not at all. I think it is a major miscalculation on their part.

So they are saying that part of there strategy is to scare tourist's. No doubt this is part of there dreams to hurt America economicaly. Thanks for posting.

My brothers, it is now April and the summer is at the doors, then will we see results from the brothers who plan for jihad tourism in America and the European countries

The way I interpret that is that they will be conducting jihad missions by travelling to the US and Europe. Kind of like eco-tourism, muslim style.

Tin-foil Alert!!! I received an email notification (either Sunday or Monday) of a GIM message that was posted on April 2nd, 2004. I don't believe I've ever seen such a ~hugh~ lag (17 days!!!) in the posting of a Yahoo! group message. Perhaps someone at Yahoo! has been allowing the good guys to take a look at these message prior to them becoming publicly available.
