...poses some interesting questions, none of which I can answer. Does anyone have any opinions or information which I can draw upon to formulate an answer, or is it somkething better left unanswered?
This is my first post, so please go easy on me. I'm working my way up the fr.com ladder, into the FR toilet, one small rung flush at a time.

You really, really need to check the link in post #70.
It's been around for a while, and it has never been debunked.

He uses the strike tags in his other posts, but I was mistaken about the tiolet part. My other points still stand, especially the part about LP. Someone familiar enough with LP should be familiar enough with the answer to the Bush cartoon.

Wow... actually, I never saw that one before... I assumed before I clicked on the link that it was the summary page one that showed the totals from each country, and the U.S. is in the "1%" category.
That one still up anywhere? I assume this is the detail that was used to create that summary sheet.

Yeah. And he was involved with an intern in the Oval
Office, fiddling while Al Quaida planned to burn
New York . . . . er, no, that wasn't Dubya, that was
Bubba. Bubba only bombed the aspirin factory, or was
it the deserted terrorist tent the day the news was
going to feature Monica's testimony.

That's the exact question I asked myself yesterday when I filled up at $1.89/gal for 87octane reg. The pump prices pretty much dispute the lib-dem arguments that this whole war was about oil. But we'll never see that posed or answered in the left-wing media.

Well we can spread this news along our chain of conversation. I'm doing it and I've even heard it on the radio (yesterday). Pass it on. I'll take my coffee with cream and sugar, thanks. :)

Fresh coffee and a Crispy Creme make it tolerable. I've got some valuable links the other posters have given, to check out and get a reply together to rip that lefty and new orifice.

It mentions a LOT of interesting armaments, WMD's if you will, that we "gave" Saddam.
In which case it proves that we were correct in taking him out of power before he could use them.
Since, as the little ditty says, "We have always had him," obviously we knew him best and what he was capable of doing.
Right now there is a concerted effort by one Dick Clarke to throw all the blame for 9-11 on W. Bush for NOT taking pre-emptive action on an organization of religious nut cases.
According to Mr. Clarke and the liberals, W. Bush in less than 8 months; that's "8, VIII, eight 'rhymes with ate'" MONTHS, should have devoted his administration's full time and effort into launching a pre-emptive strike on Al-Qaeda to prevent 9-11, when the preceding administration had 8 YEARS to do something about preventing 9-11.
But, taking out Al Qaeda would have been based on less information than we had on Iraq.
And with ALL the information we had on Iraq, we should have waited for sanctions to work?
Essentially, this presentation buttresses the argument for taking out Saddam before he could get any worse.
Sanctions on Saddam were nothing more than taking a trained, fighting pit-bull and depriving it of food until it learns to shake a paw on command.

Actually, for this guy I think all they need to do is scuff their feet on the carpet a couple of times.
I have my coffee in hand, and am stretching my paws, getting ready for ZOT.

One thing that is almost impossible to explain is the dual-use technology issue. Anyone can run-around and claim (correctly) that the U.S. sold stuff like fermentation vats to Iraq. But it is not intellectually-honest to claim that the U.S. sold Iraq fermentation vats
for the purpose of making chemical weapons. Moreover, take the issue of anthrax. Some U.S. companies sold anthrax to Iraq.
But some deliberately confuse anthrax spores/cultures and weaponized anthrax. Heck, try to explain to a liberal (or a paleo-isolationist, for that matter) that
you could have purchased anthrax
by mail up through the late 80's and early 90's.
Finally, international transfer of chem/bio weapons is forbidden by treaty, and anyone claiming the U.S. did so is necessarily claiming that the U.S. violated international law. (I believe the proper name is the U.N. Convention on Chemical Weapons). So one needs to ask, if what the lib claims is true, then why haven't the regular lib suspects not made a real case of these alleged violations? They haven't, because they cannot.
Again, the level of understanding of the above issues requires a comprehension of distinctions [appreciation of nuances, if you will (chortle)] that most folks on the extreme ends of the political spectrum lack.

Okay, LP = Liberty Post. Yes, I was over there last week snooping around when FR was off the air. I was trying to find out what happened. That's how I heard about teh ISP trouble. I don't post there, but did see a whole lot of other, familiar folks there.
