[history]
The world is used to bad news and always has been, but now and then there occurs something so brutal, so outside the normal limits of what used to be called man's inhumanity to man, that you have to look away. Then you force yourself to look and see and only one thought is possible: This must stop now. You wonder, how can we do it? And your mind says, immediately: Whatever it takes.

I like the idea of blowing up the bridge. In the future, all deliveries to Falluja should be deposited on the opposite bank of the river and if the people of Falluja want the food or whatever, they'll have to row across the river to get it.
The roads should be built to bypass Falluja entirely, and any industry for the area should be located away from that city so even if the citizens there wish a job, they will have to travel long distances to work each day.

Works for me. If there were ways to isolate them severely enough, maybe Fallujah would eventually become a ghost town, although we know there are quicker ways to achieve that end. :)

Methinks the rock hard operators that work for BSC are NOT going to let this go easily... You reckon?

"We grieve today for the loss of our colleagues and we pray for their families. The names of the victims will not be released out of respect for their families.
"The graphic images of the unprovoked attack and subsequent heinous mistreatment of our friends exhibits the extraordinary conditions under which we voluntarily work to bring freedom and democracy to the Iraqi people.
"Coalition forces and civilian contractors and administrators work side by side every day with the Iraqi people to provide essential goods and services like food, water, electricity and vital security to the Iraqi citizens and coalition members. Our tasks are dangerous and while we feel sadness for our fallen colleagues, we also feel pride and satisfaction that we are making a difference for the people of Iraq.
A Memorial Fund has been established to support the victim's families of the March 31, 2004 Fallujah attack. All memorial gifts will be documented and appropriately acknowledged with due regard to the wishes of the donor and the nature of the contribution. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims

Thanks for the info.

No, you have to grab their parents, wives and children like the Pakistanis did when they were looking for the terrorists who murdered Pearl. These terrorists aren't afraid to die, but they don't want to sacrifice their parents or children.

U.S. Marines would go into Fallujah, find the young men, arrest them or kill them, and, to make sure the point isn't lost on them, blow up the bridge. From one lady to another, I agree Peggy, 100%.

I really believe the gloves are off now and the Sunni triangle can expect some Shock and Awe. Fallujah has fallucked-up.

Perhaps it is because of this commission that is pointing fingers where they shouldn't that this happened? The enemy is watching this also, and emboldened by what they see as a loss of will in the USA to continue this war.

Bush's hand has been forced. He has no choice but to respond or be the laughing stock of the world, and his constituents. Stay glued to the 24 hour news services for the next couple of days. There are going to be some impressive fireworks.
Bush has no choice.

Any new word on the military unit backgrounds of the four? I heard 3 SEALs and a Ranger, any confirmation?

Now let's hunt these bastards down where ever they hide and exterminate them. No negotiations, No reasoning, No prisoners. Just dead.
"200 years from now, I want their children's children's children's children to cower and cringe in fear whenever they hear the sounds of jet engines overhead because their legends tell of fire from the sky.
I want them to hide in dark caves and holes in the earth, shivering with terror whenever they hear the roar of diesel engines because the tales of their ancestors talk about metal monsters crawling over the earth, spitting death and destruction.
I want their mothers to be able to admonish them with "If you don't behave, the Pale Destroyers will come for you", and that will be enough to reduce them to quivering obesience.
I want the annihilation to be so complete that their mythology will tell them of the day of judgment when the stern gods from across the sea .. the powerful 'Mericans .. destroyed their forefathers' wickedness."
Thanks to BlueLancer for the text...

Any new word on the military unit backgrounds of the four? I heard 3 SEALs and a Ranger, any confirmation? Same thing I got from the DOD report. VERY unofficially one guy said he thought two of them were former Team Two guys, IF it was the same Blackwater people he'd worked with in that area. Not Idea which BUD/S class, might be pics up after the families are notified, maybe FRI or Sat.
As soon as I spot 'em, I'll post 'em or ping you to the post where they're at.

Thank God he could call. I know it had to be hell on his family!
Here is what they are...plain and simple.......
They don't know what civilized society is all about. It is sad that they choose to live as they did thousands of years ago instead of coming into the 20th century and civilized society.
