At the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester Wednesday, hundreds of students took a stand against hate. NewsCenter 5's Jim Boyd reported that the students rallied behind a fellow student who said he's been receiving threats because he's gay. Christopher Brown said the threats were so specific, that he feared for his safety.
"As a community, we can no longer tolerate the repeated acts of hate and the love that is lost," said one student at the rally.
A few hundred students came out in support of Brown, a 21-year-old senior who has been allegedly targeted with hate notes because he is gay.
"It has been sort of systematic. There have been five (notes) so far. They all include slurs about homosexuality, and they've gotten to the point of explicit threats," said Brown.
Brown said the threats came in the last two messages. Monday night a note was left for him at a dining hall where he works part time, and earlier this month, a note was slipped under his dormitory room door.
School officials say a full investigation is under way.
"We just will not condone, and we will not tolerate these types of actions, at our home, in our environment, in our culture," said Jacqueline Brown, dean of students. Students at the rally say they are glad to se the outpouring for Brown and against hatred.
"This is what college is about -- to express yourself and be able stand up," said student Emily Toto.
"There is a lot of anger about the acts of hate going on on this campus, and it is just great knowing there are other people who feel like I do -- that these acts of hate against race, religion, sexual preference, they just have to stop," said student Gavin Sturube.
There are about 2,800 students on the College of the Holy Cross campus, and about 1,200 have signed a petition denouncing the hate messages.

Isn't it a bit odd that this outburst of raw hatred is happening in a super-liberal Boston college, and right in the middle of the gay-marriage debate? If I were inclined to think ill of this world's victimized, I'd suspect it was a setup to get media attention.

Aren't you a jaded bunch! Just because there's no possible motive or suspect, and this youngster's desperate for attention, you go and assume that he's a hoaxer.
Now, I was going to say that he's a hoaxer, but since you did before me, I have no intention of giving you credit for the insight. Nanananana!

There is something about the homosexual and the lesbian that often want to draw attention to themselves. Not all, but many behave this way.

Holy Cross is a lot of things, but super-liberal is not one of them. Particularly compared to other colleges and universities in New England.

Survey says: He sent the hate notes to himselfIsn't that always the way it ends? And when this finally comes out, you can be guaranteed that the students and press will be just as vocal about the hoax....right?

"students rallied behind a fellow student who said he's been receiving threats because he's gay."
However, students are silent when Jews are killed because of their religion. They are also silent when Islamic terrorists threaten to kill americans.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1058056/posts
Christian attorney says homosexual groups are teaching student activists in public schools to use provocative behavior to goad other students into acting hostilely toward them.
Five years of litigation recently came to a close when six homosexual students represented by the American Civil Liberties Union won a $1.1 million settlement against the Morgan Hill Unified School District [PDF] in California. The students claim they were bullied and harassed because of their sexual orientation. As a result of the settlement, the entire school district is now required to implement a "sensitivity training" program designed to shield homosexuals from bullying.
Scott Lively, president of the California-based Pro-Family Law Center, believes this is the latest in a series of settlements resulting from a deliberate strategy by the homosexual political movement.
"Their goal is to transform American public schools into centers of pro-gay activity and training," he says. "They want the schools to advance the gay agenda through 'sensitivity training,' 'diversity' days, [and by] including homosexuality in curricula, etcetera."
Lively says student activists who flaunt their homosexual behavior in front of students considered to be "rednecks or jocks" often succeed in forcing their school to adopt an anti-bullying policy that embraces a pro-homosexual perspective, because if the school does not take action they are likely to be sued. The attorney says schools do not need a special anti-harassment policy for homosexuals only.
"Instead of following the 'civil rights model' of dividing people according to color or race or whatever and then giving them protection based on their membership in the group, [schools' should give them protection based on the fact that they're an individual human being worthy of respect," he says

Homosexual Agenda Ping - Hmmm, another "hate crime".
I wonder what are the odds the "gay" student or one of his friends did it? There have been a lot of bogus "hate" crimes.
Let me know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.

There is something about the homosexual and the lesbian that often want to draw attention to themselves. Not all, but many behave this way. Narcissism is one of the disorders that seems to accompany Same-sex Attraction Disorder (SAD)
Remember the second law of homosexuality:
To the mentally healthy person (heterosexual) sex is something you do
To the mentally diseased person ('homosexual') sex is everything you are
Since sex is everything to them their entire focus is on them (or even more accurately, their genitals). Of course they're going to be narcissistic
