Foxnews host Bill O'Reilly just previewed his show. "Problems continue for the U.S. Military in Fallujah. Why doesn't the U.S. Military just go ahead and level it?"
I have to say that I agree with Bill. Level the place.

Too logical...

In my view, O'Reily is a nut case, a selfish, egotistical, power hungry, self-serving, two faced loud mouth that Fox should have dumped a long time ago. Heck, when he is on, I flip the channel to CNN and I hate myself for that. BUT, on this one....he is right. Of course, I haven't seen the details of his actual "opine" on this as yet.
Cut it off and kill it. Then the first one that complains, cut it off and kill it too, and so on, and so on.....Sooner or later, the morons should get the message or they just wont exist anymore...........a win, win to me!

IIRC the neutron bomb kills all organic life within its kill area but leaves all buildings intact for later use. I don't know why that popped into my head though.

I totally agree with your post.
The bulls**t has got to stop.
I don't think the Sunnis have seen what it's like to be on the receiving end of some repressive measures such as 16-hour curfew, mandatory (or you go to jail) ID's required for all civilians, shutting off of water and power for atacks made on Coalition forces, police stations, etc.
A very very very large-scale crackdown on these people is what we need to do.

Hey, leveling the dump works for me. It would make a powerful statement, which is what those miscreants need.
To: ConservativeMan55
I agree with Bill on this one. This should be a good show.

I agree. Level the damned place and plow the land with salt. I hope that we at least impose martial law, curfews and shoot to kill any sunni bastard who fails to follow the rules. No questions asked.

Bill must have a mole listening to the Jay Severin radio program out of Boston. Jay has repeated this for the past six months as a solution to dealing with "primitives" and "savages" as they have no clue what it takes to be free and all they know is death, destruction, power, and misery. So he says, give it to them in the form of small nukes. If they refuse to police themselves, repair the infrastructure, and go back to work, harbor terrorists and former supporters of Hussein, then give them a day or two notice to clear out and then level the hovels. After a while they will either be pacified or dead and they will certainly be on notice to cooperate.
The end question is, can we lower ourselves to their level to fight and win the battle and still claim civility? Is it worth it? What does taking actions like that make us? I think we can do it only when we believe our survival is at stake if we did not use all the force it would take to win. Then, how do we know when we have won? I do not have the answers. If it was easy we would have solved the problems by now. I think it is like a hockey fight (I have years of experience here) or a barroom fight. You know you have to do it. There is extreme escalation. The one who escalates first and with the most force usually wins. And in order to win, one can not rationalize consequences beforehand.

Level the place and show it LIVE on TV. LEVEL THE ENTIRE DAMN TOWN.
Hell. We should have been dropping bombs this morning.
