Katherine Jenerette | 31 March 2004 | Dixie Sass

Posted on 03/31/2004 10:18:36 AM PST by dixie sass

Yesterday I received a call from Katherine with some great news - she is running for the SC State Senate Seat.

The following is taken from the Myrtle Beach Newspaper - the whole article can be found at http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/mld/sunnews/8318274.htm

"Brown's Horry County staff member Katherine Jenerette filed to run on the Republican ticket against state Sen. Dick Elliott, D-North Myrtle Beach.

Her husband, Van Jenerette, ran against Brown four years ago. Katherine Jenerette is treading in the steps of state Rep. Thad Viers, R-Myrtle Beach, who also was an Horry County staffer for Brown."

Yesterday in our conversation you mentioned something about I-73 and the need for it in your part of the state. Can you elaborate on it for us?

It is great, isn't it!

I'm sure that Katherine and Van as well as the rest of us would love to see the pictures.

She is just as passionate as Van is.

Yep, I sure did ping him. I imagine he's proud as punch!
